“this MOTEL is what you pay for”

Isn't wasn't bad but it was what I payed for. It is a MOTEL though, not a hotel. No one on staff was rude but their customer service was on par with the price you pay for your room. I brought my own bedding to sleep in but I do that at most places I stay, you just hear too many stories unfortunately. I'd rather stay somewhere else but it was a good price, decent location for what I was in town for and actually did have a microwave and fridge, that the power kept going out on when I used the microwave and was never looked at or fixed at least. But for a 5day stay it was nice to have a fridge that worked most of the time. If you want to pay more for better do it. but if this is your price range then I'd say go ahead.

“Been there before”

We are always satisfied with our stay . It is close enough to Casinos and othe points of interest. Never any complaints. The breakfast has a nice variety of food, juice and coffee. the price is within our budget.

“Decent place”

This was a good Hotel needs a little up date. But it surved the purpose we did not spend alot of time in the room. The casino shuttle also picked you up and drops you oof at the front door of each.

“Not impressed !!”

Shower did not drain - stood in water up to ankles while showering. Dog poop on walkway to stairs.

“My husband had to sleep in his clothes for fear of infestation.”

First, the woman who checked us in used a profanity or two when trying to locate our reservation. Then we got to our room to find it stunk a little bit from the heating/air conditioning unit. The rooms were not at all soundproof and after hotel guests finished their night out at the hotel lounge it was quite loud. Continental breakfast was unremarkable and we didn't stick around. Not the worst hotel we stayed in but there's no way we'll ever return.

“What a Mess”

The Rooms are small & dirty, the plumbing was coming off the wall in the bathroom, Our room was located next to there tavern, drunks was coming out late making noise and talking loud, prositution girls were there making dates! If go some place all the parking outside the rooms at night are taken up with the tavern people when you get back. This place is not for anyone that wants to get a good nights sleep. Its hard to get in and out of the place. Sorry but don't stay here unless its your a last resort. We rate it a 0!!!!!

The hotel room was great! It was in an easy location to get in and out of. Will definately stay again.

“Needing update and security”

This is a convenient hotel to downtown Dubuque and the surrounding communities, which is why it was filled to capacity on a Sat. night. Given how popular it seems to be, they should invest some money in new linens. Our bed linens were threadbare and yellowed and the pillows should all be replaced. The whole place definitely needs updating. There was a lot of yelling/swearing out in the parking lot at 2-3 a.m. With a fullhouse, this place needs security at night to keep the "rowdies" under control after the house-bar closes. All the noise woke me and kept me awake for a half-hour until everyone had dispersed. There are some nicer places in the area at the same amount, so we won't be going back to this hotel.

“Simple Hotel”

If you need a cheap place to stay this hotel is fine. No issues but no frills either. Free internet and breakfast.
