There was a problem with the check-in. The hotel is a bit outdated. In weekend they have events so try to get a room higher then the first floor.

Nice people however: A. Air conditioning in the room wasn’t working properly and after reporting it multiple times it wasn’t fixed. B. No black tea, tea bags in the room. Asked for it and promised to get one but didn’t happened. C. Loud disco dance music in the restaurant for breakfast. Asked to change it to something more tranquil with no joy. D. Eggs in the buffet breakfast were cold.

I can’t say enough about this hotel. Absolutely wonderful. The staff were the most helpful I’ve ever come across. The girl on the night shift went out of her way to assist us 17/18 July Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended The breakfast had a fantastic choice also

Fabulous! Reception was warm and friendly, not to mention efficient. Room was ready earlier than scheduled check-in time and was spotless. View to the river was a nice bonus. Breakfast buffet? Make sure you do not miss it! Great selection of tasty hot and cold breakfast items plus tea or an espresso / cappucino to start the day off right. Good wifi. Luggage room is available if you arrive too early or have some time after check-out to enjoy a casual stroll along the riverfront. Definitely a place that makes one feel welcome and I, for one, would book a stay there again if opportunity arises. Thanks again everyone!

Dependably very nice
As always this was a dependable, clean, spacious, modern and friendly hotel. For a night it was perfect. Did not use the breakfast, which is admittedly too early. But I did use the new Room Service (very recently introduced), and it was fast and tasty.

Very good option in Galati
I have been staying at Faleza Hotel many times over the later years and always take a Business room (although after the 2018 renovations all rooms are good). What I like about them: - spacious, clean rooms, including a very long desk, water boiler (tea and coffee provided), minibar with the usual drinks decently priced; - a spacious drawer where you can also find the pressing / cleaning bag; - international TV, many conveniently placed sockets and large simple sturdy bathrooms with movable shower heads and tubs. The rooms are in vivacious pleasant colors and filled with light, although have heavy curtains too. The staff has been helpful and friendly most of the time and checkin is quite fast. As for the negative, it refers somewhat to the breakfast: - on the one hand, it is too early, ending at 9:30 during the week (although you can get a few bites later due to the friendly staff); - on the other hand, it is very skimpy with basically bread, some butter, sausage, vegetables and something sweet. Again, you can get coffee later in the day as they are very accomodating. They solved the COVID restrictions (no indoor dining in Romania) by using their terrace for breakfast, which is nice. The hotel is conveniently located next to the main walking spot - the “faleza” (boardwalk), and to a restaurant called Union Jack serving very good food. So overall it has become my home in Galati and I would strongly recommend them.

It was close to the waterfront, staffs were ready help. There were no safe in the rooms, but the front desk helped. The breakfast was delicious, good selection of foods and drinks.

Good option
The hotel is the most newly renovated in Galati, and very spacious. The rooms are clean with good quality bedding. Bathroom is with bathtub and movable shower plus individual toiletries. My room’s view was over the Danube which is beautiful. At the ground floor there is a cafe and a restaurant providing great food also late at night (soundproofing very good). The hotel does have some quircks (some staff are clearly much more customer-oriented than others; special requests need to be accomodated from the sister-hotel nearby), and the breakfast is quite basic (sandwich materials, scrambled eggs, coffee, juice, croissant), but all in all it is a good option to which I have returned over 7 times now.

Simple, clean, useful
The Faleza Hotel by Vega was closed for the duration of a booking. Therefore, I stayed at the Vega hotel proper, which is located nearby. The area is the main pedestrian sightseeing route in Galati, by the Danube. The hotel itself is clean, with large rooms and good furniture. Breakfast is simple but one can put together a sandwich and something sweet on the side. All in all, a good option for Galati.

Despite the fact that room was fully prepaid for 3 persons including breakfast (and is twice more expensive than regular double room), hotel charged extra during check-in, claiming that having 3 people on the reservation doesn't mean that the price is for 3 persons. Even after charging extra, only 2 towels were provided for 3 people. "Executive Suite" can be noisy - music from the bar/restaurant can be heard all night long, even at 5am. Not recommended.

As expected
The hotel is very nicely located, central but also close to the pedestrian riverside. They have a good restaurant just next door. The rooms are a bit old, but everything works well, and the window isolation makes them very quiet. The temperature control system actually works as it is supposed to do, something welcome given the temperatures in the Summer. It makes a very pleasant atmosphere (not like normal AC). The breakfast, however, is quite basic, and that is the main fault of the hotel. Otherwise, a place to return to.

Decent choice in a wonderful location
Hotel Faleza by Vega is located on the "faleza" (the boardwalk) of the Danube, in its nicest part, and quite close to the city center as well. It is a refurbished hotel, except for the furniture and fixtures which are older, but still working. The conditions are good, normal, without anything special, for a 3* hotel. The room has a flat screen TV, a stocked minibar, a drawer, bed, and a small desk space. Rooms are generous in size, and some of them have beautiful Danube views. Heating and water work properly. There is a small set of toiletries. Breakfast is decent, with mostly sandwich and croissant options. Overall, a good choice on a moderate budget.

Recent am avut plăcerea de a petrece o noapte la Hotelul Faleza by Vega, situat chiar lângă faleza Dunării din Galați. Experiența mea a fost una placuta.Camera, curata si și confortabila,minibar complet, personalul, care s-a dovedit a fi deosebit de amabil și atent. Restaurantul de langa hotel (cu intrare din hotel)a fost un alt punct forte al șederii mele, oferind o varietate de preparate delicioase, care m-au făcut să mă simt cu adevărat relaxat. Micul dejun, inclus în pachetul de cazare, a fost suficient și diversificat. În concluzie, experiența mea la Hotelul Faleza by Vega a fost una fără reproș, combinând perfect elementele esențiale pentru o ședere placuta: locația excelentă, confortul, ospitalitatea personalului și opțiunile culinare de înaltă calitate. Cu siguranță, va fi destinația mea preferată pentru viitoarele vizite în Galați.

Kein gutes Hotel !
Große Zimmer, leider gab’s viel Schimmel im Bad, viele Ecken verstaubt, schlecht gereinigt, Wände in Zimmer verschmiert. Da hilft auch kein schönen Blick auf dem Donau nicht mehr um sich wohl zu fühlen. Auch kein besonders gutes Frühstück. Das Personal war aber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Da komme ich bestimmt nicht wieder.

Les photos de la chambre ne correspondait pas à la réalité. La chambre petite et la salle de bain vieillissant. Il y a eu des fuites au niveaux de baignoire et la moisissures sur les mures. Par contre, la vue sur la Danube est magnifique.
