"This property is in beautiful grounds with stunning views all around. Such a peaceful reprieve out in the fresh mountain air. The weather was wonderful for hiking the myriad of trails in this part of the Pyrenees - the wildflowers were spectacular! Although our focus was the outdoors, the cottage was also a delight - spacious and light with huge view windows throughout. Waking up and looking out the bedroom window at the Cirque de Gavarnie was an unexpected treat."

"Parking for the hotel was convenient across the street. The hotel staff was very welcoming. We arrived near sunset and had a lovely dinner in their adjoining restaurant. The room was comfortable and the view was also very nice. We stayed one night. It was very quiet on a national holiday but we walked around and took lots of appealing photos. Attractive location."

"The house had incredible views and a quiet backyard/garden. It was a charming and clean home, perfect for our family of five. Claire and Yves live in an adjacent property and were friendly and accommodating. The house was a little challenging to find, but neighbors were helpful. If you have a larger car, parking could be difficult since the streets are narrow in this community. We enjoyed visiting the castle in Foix and completing three cave tours in the area during our two day/three night...

"GOOD: - location in central Foix allows foot access to just about everything. - great staff - overall a nice, simple hotel. BAD: - cafe / bar / restaurant closed most days. - Breakfast is expensive for the minimal and only ‘okay’ food served. - rooms facing street can suffer from noise (shouting, vomiting, crying) as bars close - rooms get hot. Can only cool with open windows, and given street noise…"

"This is one of those rare properties that has had little done to it in 30 years but then the price hasnt changed either! Very good value for money for 4 people and a dog. There are a couple of things that could be improved without spending a fortune, the bath mat and anti slip mat are truly disgusting! If you dont mind too much about decor, having any kind of modern touches (although there is a tv but no internet), dudious electrics, and just want a place to lay your head, atleast there is...
