Very clean and spacious room. Loved the central location to walk to grocery store and dinner. Highly recommend Alice May restaurant down the street. Overall our time in Franz Josef was enjoyable and memorable.

Large, beautifully appointed room with private patio with view of the mountains and glaciers. Small town, so great location. A little pricey, but it was peak season...

We were friends traveling together that were in the corner apartment. This room had a fabulous view of the mountains. Very clean, excellent Parkin and convenient. We would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to everyone.

The property was in a good location with regard to walking to town - just a few minutes to all the restaurants and tour organizations. The beds are too soft and not at all supportive - this could be improved. While showering at 7:45am the water temp (on full hot) went for medium warm to tepid - obviously lots of customers using hot water at this time - this could be improved.

Anthony was very friendly and helpful at checking. The motel was clean, very spacious and convenient to Franz Josef shops, restaurants and hikes. We were able to cook our own meals at the property which was convenient. We would recommend this motel to others.

It was rocky whether we'd be able to go and i was devastated, as it was the only day we planned to be in the area and this was to be a special anniversary adventure. BUT, it all worked out. We weren't able to make a landing but the pilot was so accommodating, providing great education about the spectacular views and an awesome chopper experience ❤

Appreciated that the room was already warmed up when we arrived. FJ is a small place so walkable is a natural, but the Motel is great. Will stay again if we get the chance.

Good value just take ear plugs
We stayed in a king size studio that had plenty of room. From the entrance we could see the snow covered mountains which was a bonus as the actual view was towards the township. It was clean and it had a well equipped kitchenette which is essential as eating out here is v expensive. Only issue is sound proofing, we could hear the neighbours whose alarm went off at 6am. They also left their car running for a good ten minutes before leaving but it was not frosty or snowing..

You can walk to town in 2 mins. Very affordable, convenient to town and dining options, and very clean. Within 10 min drive to the Franz Josef glacier. There was 4 in my group and we had the family suite. Plenty of room for all of us. Would stay here again.

Great little find!
Swift check in and delighted to be offered free upgrade. Room was really comfortable, clean and spacious with all the essentials amenities. 5min walk into town for bars and restaurants.
