This is a beautiful hotel. My room with sitting area was spacious but completely dated. Every piece of furniture (including the phone, and decorative statues), were at least 30 years old. Everything looked like it was from the early 80s. The bathroom was modern and remodeled but the old room made it uncomfortable for me and was not relaxing. The staff was warm and friendly, but there were some issues with in room dining and at the restaurant. I ordered dinner to my room and was told that it would be about 30 minutes. After 1.5 hours, it still didn't arrive. I don't know what happened but after I called, they brought over cold ravioli. I did receive a free fruit cup, which I thought was a nice gesture. The breakfast area was nice and the breakfast was delicious but again, I ordered the scrambled eggs with added bacon and only the eggs came. The bacon and the bread were missing. When I brought this up, the waiter, immediately addressed this issue. He was an older man but very sincere. For an upscale hotel, there were definitely opportunities missed for providing good service. The pool area was nice (but the pool was cold). The sauna was great and the hot tub jacuzzi was warm (at best). I parked my car in the underground garage, which was spacious, bright and safe, however 39 Euros a night seemed a little steep.
