Great job Marang!
The staff were very courteous, friendly, helpful and committed to making our stay comfortable and meet out expectations. I received calls to check on our stay during the stay. The cleaning lady that attended to our room was very polite and helpful too. I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the suite and we felt safe that all the COVID 19 restriction were adhered to.

Do not book, no operation
I booked this hotel, but it is not operating. They arranged another Cresta in Francistown which is cheaper than this hotel. Not yet replied how to compensate the difference.

Probably the best hotel in town. Room was in general good condition and felt clean. Locationwise it helps to have a car otherwise taxi might be required but it is only a short ride into town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A very good experience.

Recommended. Clean, comfortable, secure parking. Good breakfast was included, which had eggs cooked to order, plenty of fresh fruit and several other buffet items. I had inadvertently left my computer at the previous hotel we'd stayed at and asked the front desk for assistance in having it shipped to me. One of the reception clerks was very helpful in reuniting me with my computer. Overall, staff was friendly and attentive. Grounds are pleasant as well.

A green and pleasant oasis in Francistown
The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and accommodating. The gardens are beautifully lush and green and relaxing. A little oasis in a busy, hot and dusty town!

wonderfully peaceful
The staff were welcoming and very efficient when booking us in. We were overwhelmed at the beautiful, peaceful setting - lush green lawns and the most magnificent trees. Our room was more than satisfactory with much needed aircon and a very comfortable 'king size' bed. However, the over-full pillows were not conducive to a great sleep! Dinner was an excellent buffet with so much on offer and everything deliciously cooked. Eating this on the patio under the stars was an added bonus. Breakfast buffet was equally good. We just wish we could have stayed longer than our 1 night.

Most beautiful hotel in Botswana
The Marang is one of the oldest and most beautiful hotels in Botswana situated next to the Tati River in Francistown. The hotel grounds are verdant and lush, under a canopy of magnificent trees with bungalows on stilts above the expansive lawn. Enjoy a meal and your favorite beverage pool side. Staff is very pleasant and attentive with the traditional hospitality found in Botswana. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Lovely hotel with great staff!

Had a lovely stay - the hotel management couldn't have tried harder and even left us takeaway breakfasts at 5am.

Beautiful setting and quiet
Only stayed one night, but room was in excellent condition and hotel staff very cooperative and service oriented. There was a slight delay in room availability upon arrival, but they worked hard to get us into the room. Hotel is a little out of the way, but no problem as we had a car.

Luxury Near the River
Because of our travel plans, we could only stay one night. It was one the best hotels we have stayed in for quite a while. We stayed for a room in the 50 series which we have since heard have been newly remodeled. The room was clean. The furnishings were up to date and the staff friendly and helpful. Had a breakfast buffet in the morning. The fruit was fresh and looked appetizing. The pastries were limited but not remarkable. The service was accommodating. Had only 2 problems. 1) We pre-paid on the Expedia website but the reservation staff twice told us that that we had NOT paid. I had to produce my booking documents before they believed.me. 2) When we checked in we were told that we would have WiFi in our room. There was only one signal there but we could not connect. We called the desk about the problem and they said 'connect to the one with the highest frequency'. One signal cannot have the highest frequency. Went back to the desk. Could only connect to the one in the lobby. WiFi was not available in our room.

Fijn verblijf in een net gerenoveerd hotel
Zeer fijn hotel met net gerenoveerde keurige kamers die voorzien zijn van alle gemakken. Vanuit de kamer ook een mooi uitzicht over de grote tuin. Enige minpunt was de bediening bij het avondeten. Uiteindelijk meer dan een half uur moeten wachten voordat wij eindelijk de rekening kregen.

Schlichtes 3 Sterne Hotel. Für Zwischenübernachtungen ausreichend. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet!!! Weinkarte kennt nur Rot und Weiss. Keine Winzer- und Traubensorten. Bungalows sehr ruhig gelegen.

Tolle Zimmer, aber ...
Das Zimmer war wirklich tip top, das Personal sehr freundlich. Essen (Buffet) ordentlich. Der Service im Innenbereich des Restaurants sehr gut, leider dafür auf der Terrasse sehr schlecht. Keine gedeckten Tische, keiner kümmert sich um was. Man wird also gezwungen, auch bei schönstem Wetter drinnen zu bleiben. Für eine Übernachtung auf der Durchfahrt aber o.k.
