"There were pro’s and cons to this resort. We were very early but were accommodated with an early check-in to a room at the level we had booked, which was great. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable although the view was mainly of shrubs rather than the ‘sea view’ we had expected and the patio doors weren’t very clean. I booked a table for Sunday brunch and when we arrived at the restaurant it was heaving - a good sign! - but the guy on the desk was brusque and wasn’t really interested in finding our booking when we said we were residents. He asked if we were ‘all inclusive’ and I said no, we weren’t, but he said we couldn’t have the Sunday Brunch, as residents ate at the pool restaurant. We had no choice but to go there and, to say the least, the food was not what we wanted. I did question this at Reception the following day and was told that, as we weren’t ‘all-inclusive’, we should have been able to dine in the restaurant and eat the Sunday brunch. Not impressed. Added to that, there was a rooster which paraded outside the room and crowed at around 6.00 a.m. every morning; he even paid us a visit, so I think people must have been feeding him. Again, not impressed. There was a huge storm while we were there and that sent detritus everywhere. A staff member used a leaf blower to clear it but left what looked like toilet paper draped on one of the bushes. There were also small slugs all over the little terrace afterwards. For the price, I really wouldn’t recommend."
"St. Regis in Bermuda is amazing. Excellent staff on every level. In-house restaurant is excellent. Easy and close access to beach. Beach is wonderful with drinks and food offered."
"The property has lovely views and for Bermuda the standard is good for the money. It’s clean and comfortable. If you are on a budget and have your own transport then absolutely go for this property. Lovely sunrise views and if you walk down the hill in the evening you can just see the sunset.
It’s very isolated. Unless you have your own transport don’t consider this property. Or you can afford taxis, but if you can afford taxis you probably wouldn’t choose this property. The bus stop is a good 15 minute walk and it’s at the bottom of a steep hill. We are fit and this wasnt a problem. The problem really comes because the main road is busy and has no footpaths. Whilst we used the bus we only tried it once in the evening as it feels too dangerous to walk once it’s dark. We chose this because we had a limited budget and therefore could not afford taxis.
We didn’t see the host or hear from her during our visit. Communication before our trip was poor and therefore we felt even more isolated when we were there as we had no faith in being able to contact her. She did communicate the basics beforehand sending a brochure of St George’s and told us where the key would be but that was it. We asked if we could arrange a later checkout as our flight was late but received no response. We were trying to plan a special trip for my 60th birthday and twice asked her for restaurant recommendations and asked which bus route we were on to allow us to plan but no information was forthcoming."
"I cannot say enough about the exceptional level of service provided by the staff at the Rosewood. From the first moment we arrived we were greeted by the most warm, helpful and accommodating staff. This service extended from the bell stand to housekeeping and to the many waitstaff members we encountered each day. Staff members greeted us with kindness and took time to ask us about our trip and chat beyond the normal pleasantries. They could not have been more professional and their pride in Bermuda and the Rosewood experience shown through."
Charming New Waterfront One Bedroom Loft Apartment On Mullet Bay St. George’s
10/10 Excellent
"We absolutely loved Sonia and Charles place and would 100% recommend it. St Georges is probably the best place to stay in Bermuda with great spots nearby and easy access to further afield with the bus and ferry service. The accommodation is more luxury hotel than holiday rental and the outside deck areas on Mullet Bay are beautiful and the perfect place for a sundowner. Even better in real life than the photos. We hired pedal bikes in St Georges to travel to some of the best beaches (Clearwater, Coopers Island, Tobacco Bay, Achilles etc.) as well as along the old railway line. Exceptional property and hosts with everything you could possibly need. Some really great touches like the cold prosecco and homemade banana cake on arrival and the use of the excellent kayak. Sonia was also able to give us an early check in and late check out which helped us out considerably with logistics and the lift to the airport was the icing on the cake. Thank you for making the final stay of our 3rd trip special. We hope to get back to beautiful Bermuda for a 4th trip as we still have lots to see and do."
"The resort was quiet and views outstanding. Restaurants, ferry boat, grocery store, busstop within a 10-min walk. Free shuttle van convenient to these areas plus to the beaches."

"This place is definitely all about the view, stunning to sit and look out over the bay. Mike was a fantastic host, very informative and friendly whilst still allowing us to feel we were in our own space. The location worked for us but wouldn’t work for everyone you definitely need a form of transport or be willing to manage the bus and ferry system - which we found worked well for us - the bus only goes once per hour, but ran regular as clockwork and only a short walk away. There are a couple of restaurants in walking distance (pizza take away and another restaurant open Thu-Sun) for us this didn’t really work and we tended to bus into town to eat out. Facilities to cook at the accommodation were fine for our needs. There is a petrol station with simple groceries in walking distance (albeit along the road which doesn’t feel very safe), but proper supermarkets are a drive or bus away. We had a really lovely stay and would recommend to anyone who’s happy to get themselves around and don’t mind getting out and about to eat."
