Worst coffee I’ve ever had!! I usually like to make my coffee in my room in the morning. When I did it the first morning, it was so bad that I had to go down to the breakfast room for it- just as bad there. Fortunately, I did find a local cafe that opened at 6am.

As advertised. The room was as expected, with amenities as described. The buffet was ok... slightly less good than as expected as many days the food was luke warm or just not that good (and I did have hotel 'buffet included' expectations. However, the lady doing the service was fantastic. Super nice and always helpful. Would stay again if in the area.

Nothing in the room worked. Heating/Cooling was hit or miss, microwave was broken, phone didn't work. Staff in the breakfast room (lone dude) was surly and expected the customer to push their own chair back under the table etc, No greeting upon entering breakfast room, just a thinly disguised disdain for my sole presence. Front desk and cleaning staff were nice and tried their best. I will never stay there again.

We were very please with our 3 night stay at the Merit. Very well appointed king suite with full kitchenette. Very clean. All staff were friendly and helpful. Very good hot and full free breakfast in a nice large setting. Highly recommend.

This was a great hotel to stay at with our large family -- a room with two Queen size beds and a pullout couch is fabulous. We all enjoyed our stay and the great breakfast.
