An amazing stay at an IBIS hotel
My wife and I had an amazing and surprising stay at IBIS-Florianopolis. In the past we had stayed at other IBIS hotels so we had low expectations and this hotels ratings were just around 7.6. The room was large, clean following Covid-19 protocols, The television screen was the largest screen we have ever seen in a hotel with over 753 channels. The buffet breakfast was scrumptious with fresh breads, rolls, all kinds of fruit and many beverage choices. Although it did not have a swimming pool, the free pool table/handy popcorn machine made up for the lack of a swimming pool. The hotel is really 20 minutes by foot from the downtown and close to many good restaurants, the public market, a supermarket and the bus station! We give it a 10.

Really nice hotel. Simplistic, minimalistic clean design. The rooms are small and for a tall person the bathroom might be a tight fit. Hotel is in a good location with parking available on site for 20 reais per day, 24 hour restaurant also. The only problem I had was a missing phone charger from my room.

Comparado com as outras vezes em que estive hospedado, senti uma queda na qualidade. São detalhes, mas fazem a diferença. Espero que tenha sido pontual, mas é importante rever temas como box do banheiro (entupimento), limpeza do piso, talheres no café-da-manhã, etc.

Average, good for a small stay.
When I arrived, the key they gave me didn't work. I went down to the lobby and they gave me another card, that didn't work also. At last, they decided to give me a new room (this time the card opnened my door). But didn't send anyone with me to check if this time it was ok or help me and my daughter with the bags. Did not leave me a with very good first impression. The romm was only average, small with a small bathroom. Some things were worn out, like the shelf for the clothes and the bathroom door. The shower was ok, good temperature and pressure. There was a construction in front of the hotel so, early in the morning, the noise was a bit annoying since the windows weren't noise proof. I liked the breakfast, simple but complete. With fruits, milk, coffee, juice, ham, cheese, different kinds os breads, cakes, scrambled eggs, sausages, cereal, etc. It was in a small place, but since there weren't lots of gests, we could have a nice and calm breakfast. The hotel is also smoke free, which was excellent!! I recommend the hotel for a short stay where you will spend a little time in the room.

The hotel was nice and clean the staff was friendly. The only problem was the next door room was really loud and noisy. Next time I will have to call the front desk for help.

Ok for short stay
The problem is that the walls are paper thin, so you will hear everything that happens in other rooms (and i mean EVERYTHING). Other than that, the hotel is nice, location is good, staff is helpful, clean.

Property has a problem with humidty. If A,/C is not kept at uncomfortably cool level, the floor and walls are wet and whole place smells moldy. Literary, water was dripping down the walls.

Great stay in Florianopolis
Good location in downtown Florianopolis - close the convention center. Has many good restaurants in walking distance. The hotel is also close to the ocean area which has a long running and walking path. There is a outside market on Sunday afternoons.

The hotel is very well located and the staff is very helpful. Unfortunately, maintenance hasn’t been a priority. There were holes on the couch cushion in the bedroom, as well as holes in the blackout curtain. There was dust all over the room, especially under the bed.

Quarto muito confortável, banheiro também. O único “defeito” foi não ter tomada do lado da cabeceira da cama (tem apenas entrada USB).
