Definitely exceptional!!
This was the perfect Bed and Breakfast in Florence! So glad we chose this beautiful villa! Our room was spacious, and the bathroom was huge! Breakfast in the mornings was fantastic! Our host was so kind as to even bring us breakfast in a basket to our room the night prior to our early departure the following day! Location was amazing, just a short walk to restaurants, stores, and the Duomo. This place was exceptional in every way! Would highly recommend for its excellent service, cleanliness, and location! Looking for a gem of a place to stay in Florence? This is DEFINITELY THE PLACE!

A Personal Hideaway In Florence
I would absolutely stay here again specifically because of the outstanding personal service. My room was beautiful and the breakfast sublime. I only wish the bed had been more comfortable in such a lovely setting.

Amazing B&B - Highly Recommend
Amazing place to stay. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is wonderful. There is even a garden area if you wish to spend some time outside. I can not say enough about the wonderful staff!!! Unique and historical B&B that was by far our favorite on our Italian journey. The air conditioner was a big concern for me and worked beautiful in extremely hot weather. Very large bathroom and shower and was able to accommodate a 6'4" person, which was not the case in most places we stayed in Italy.

An awesome place in Florence.
The service in the hotel was great.The staff is very friendly and helpful. The manager and her secretary are wonderful. I highly recommended this place for your stay in Florence.

Such a beautiful place to stay. Staff truly made us feel like family. Room was lovely and huge. In a quiet, residential area, but close enough to walk to the train station (but do yourself a favor and take a taxi to/from when you've got your luggage. If I could rate this beyond a 5, I would!!

Great place out of touristy area fantastic staff
We stayed over a weekend, the staff could not have been more helpful. It's a good 15 minutes walk to central orence but really no issue even in the hot weather because the buildings and scenery are interesting. Try out a restaurant nearby where all the locals go, much nicer than overpriced tourist traps in the city centre.

Hotel is clean and staff are very friendly. Rooms are huge and breakfast is great especially for a city like Florence. Location while it's slightly further away from old city, it's easily overcome with taking buses which adds the fun to it

Beautiful B&B with friendly staff. A great find!
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this B&B. Our room was tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom also was quite roomy and modern with marble floors and designer fixtures. The pictures of the rooms on the website are accurate and representative of what you will experience on your stay. Continental breakfast is available in the mornings and the kitchen staff will prepare eggs for you on request. The location is just under a mile from Galleria dell'Accademia. We found that most of the sites in the city center are about a 20 minute walk from the B&B. There a few bus stops nearby that will take you to the city center if you choose not to walk. It's a pleasant and safe walk to the city center and we didn't utilize the bus. The news stand close to the property sells bus tickets and the B&B keeps a number of tickets available for sale to the guests.

Very nice hotel at Florence
An enjoyable stay for us (a group of 3 - retired couple and their grown-up son). The premises is well kept and very very clean (the mother is a prick-y person). The down to details decoration and antique-feel elements themselves are a monument by itself.

Very welcoming and outlined all the directions to major sites in Florence on a map they gave to us. The map showing where quality eating establishments were located nearby was excellent. Plenty of area in our room for our extended stay. Would recommend to everyone. The bathroom was exceptionally large and clean and walk in robe had a large hanging space for his and hers clothing.

Perfect for a stay in Florence
This was our first time away from our children for years and could not have asked for a better place to stay. The Villa has a very romantic atmosphere and has the feel of a 5 star Hotel and not a B and B. We enjoyed the fact that it was not in the centre of Florence and was only a 15 minute walk to the main attractions. Would we go back? YES

Phenomenal place. The hotel was clean and decorated very well. Our room was beautiful. The restroom was amazing and the breakfast was in this magnificent dining room. The hotel is in great part of town. I highly recommend this place for your stay in Florence.

Florence's Hidden Gem
Well appointed B&B with six beautifully decorated rooms.and spacious accommodations located in a quiet neighborhood yet walking distance to all strategic sites. The owner takes pride in the B&B and attends to each guest as they are unique. The villa is more than 100 years old but well kept. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and look like the photos on its website. We were pleased with its service and was the best of all accommodations we had in Italy. A special thanks to Florina for making breakfast and lovely conversation each morning.

Beautiful villa with personalised service
Relais Villa Antea is a family-run B&B with six beautifully decorated rooms. The owner takes pride in the B&B and tries its best to make our stay comfortable. The villa is more than 100 years old but well kept. The rooms are spacious and look like the photos on its website. The host attended to our emails enquiries promptly and assisted us in making restaurant reservations. We are pleased with its service. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is outside of Florence city and it is about 15 minute walk to the historic city. This is one of the reasons we chose the location as we rented a car and couldn't park in the restricted zone within the historic area.

Quiet enjoyment
The staff/owners paid attention to every detail, and were so accommodating down to the smallest detail. Our return flight to the US required us to leave at 5AM. The staff arranged the night before for a taxi to be at the door and also prepared a breakfast basket for us.

Spend a Few Nights at Dileta's Family Villa
From the moment we arrived by car, Dileta, the owner of this B & B Italian-style, was right there to make us feel at home and give us tips to see the city. It's located close to the bus route and about a 20 minute walk from the central point in Florence. Parking is good because Villa Antea provides a few spaces for customers and that's a huge help. Breakfast was lovely -- food as well as the dining room. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom in our room -- huge! Overall, a delightful stay with a very warm and welcoming host, Dileta!

A beautiful B&B
We stayed here as the second leg of our honeymoon and we couldn't have been happier. Our room was absolutely beautiful and spacious with a very large bathroom. The hosts were very kind and extremely helpful in getting us around town to see what we wanted. The breakfast was delicious with a nice selection of food and your choice of eggs. We would definitely stay here again on a other trip and would easily recommend it to anyone else.

We really liked our stay at villa Antea. It's a beautiful Florence villa, very clean, located in a pretty and safe residential neighborhood, within 25-30 min easy walk to the center/all sights. Our room was very nice and had a great Florence ambience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were provided with useful information about the restaurants, transportation options and everything else we needed. we would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay
This is the place to stay if you like a quiet and personal accommodation. With only 6 bedrooms it is hard to think what could be better - and competitively priced as well. Be prepared though, it is quite because it is away from the main tourist areas so it's a 20 minute walk to the main attractions. One great bonus is that there are some brilliant restaurants close by. They range from a really good, cheap, busy and fun vegetarian restaurant to perhaps one of the best restaurants in town, all within no more than 750 metres. They were all so much nicer than the busy (and dubious quality) tourist restaurants in the centre of town. Villa Antea have prepared a small booklet with all the information you need to make the most of this wonderful city and were very helpful in advising us and booking museums ahead.

A haven of peace in busy Florence.
Relais Villa Antea is in a quiet area just north of the centre of Florence. A pleasant 15 minute walk to the Duomo, but there are bus routes to the centre nearby. The Villa has just 5 spacious and well appointed bedrooms. Ours was clean and comfortable, with antique furniture. The shower room was as big as the bedroom of some hotels! Breakfast was good, with choices to appeal to most tastes. Diletta and her staff were extremely helpful. The booklet of information she had prepared led us to three very different restaurants in the evening just a short walk away. Each with lots of local character and only a few tourists for company. For a peaceful stay away from the city centre crowds Villa Antea would be hard to beat.

Charming, Luxurious, and Out-of-the-Fray
The villa was charming, the host wonderfully welcoming, and our room was far more luxurious than we expected for the very reasonable price, but it was the unbelievable bathroom which was nearly as large as the room itself which blew us away: it was so modern, beautifully designed, and cooler than cool that we felt like we were in a palace. The villa itself is in a residential neighborhood that's an easy walk from the town center -- it's GOOD to be out of the fray at the end of the day. We can't wait to come back.

A Relaxing Way to see Florence.
Vila Antea is located just outside the city core and once you got your bearings was fairly convenient to everything. Getting there by car was a bit of a challenge but not unexpected for a larger Italian city. It is billed as being in a quiet residential neighborhood, which may conjure up images of houses for non Europeans. It is really in an area of mid rise apartments and not really that scenic. However, the hotel itself was wonderful and we were very pleased with the service, the rooms and the personal attention that we received. We would definitely go back.

Wonderfully Romantic!
We found this hotel to be a wonderful value and the service was great! It was about a 15 minute walk to get into the heart of Florence, which we did not mind at all. Our room and bathroom were incredibly spacious with beautfiul decor. We would definitely go back!

Everything was far above and beyond expectations. Great modern rooms with the modern amenities with the Old World small hotel feel... Very good breakfast. Excellent helpful staff... IMHO rooms were better then in many hotels with the five star ratings... 15 minutes walking distance from the Academy, 25-30 minutes to the Uffizi, 2 minutes to the bus stop.

Beautiful old villa about 10 minutes on bus from centre of Florence. Plenty of local restaurants. Much better than the busy city centre hotels. The new owner is refurbishing the rooms which are beatiful but have some minor annoying features - e.g wardrobe door stuck

We loved this hotel and especially the service provided by the wonderful staff. The hotel staff was very accomodating including advising and making reservations for us at all museums, restaurants, and travel arrangements during our stay. We so enjoyed this hotel and the enhanced experience of the city that the staff provided!

Hotel lacks facilities. No bar, no guest lounge, no resturant. Need to walk (40 minutes) into town for anything. Road give more traffic noise than you would expect for a small out of town location. Basic breakfast.

Deluxe suite is extremely spacious for Italy!
I loved this villa. It was like a bed & breakfast. We got a room for 3 people that was huge by European standards. The bathroom was also huge, especially the shower. Very clean, friendly, and excellent breakfast included. Good location also. Would definitely recommend.

Location Not Ideal
The hotel was very clean and comfortable, however, the location was too far from downtown Florence. In addition, there was so much traffic outside of the hotel and there was some type of construction going on all night, so a quiet and peaceful rest was not possible! I would not stay here again.
