You have to be careful about this property. It is not a 3 stars hotel. First, get ready to navigate at least 50 flights of stairs. Second, there is a sewer smell after opening the main door to get to the hotel. Third, they don’t give you shampoo/body wash everyday. Fourth, the toilet is very hard to flush. You have to press it several times to flush. The water pressure is not enough?! Fifth, the last day of my stay, I didn’t have warm water to shower. Only good thing is that is close to all the attractions. Overall, it’s not a very good experience at this hotel.

Interior steps to bathroom were too steep and lacked handrail. Kitchen dishes in cabinet not clean. Unit #6. Bed was comfortable and lobby was comfortable with a nice balcony. Staff were friendly. Very convenient location for sightseeing.

Too Many Steps
The biggest surprise is the fifty stairs that we had to traverse to get to our room. We are 75 and 78 and going up and down the stairs was difficult at times especially with luggage. This should be in the advertisement for the room.

The location of this property is fantastic; it really is central to the sights of Florence and we appreciated the dining/sight-seeing recommendations given to us on check-in. The bathroom is uncomfortably small, and the air conditioning can't cope with properly cooling the room (but was able to take the full heat out), but the room was very clean, staff lovely, and we enjoyed our stay.

Great time.
We enjoyed our stay in Florence. The location was very central and we were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to visit. We were lucky enough as right next door to us we had lots of eating places plus a convenient supermarket and fruit shop. Elena our host was very helpful. Thank you, Elena.

Dei Mori is like staying in a Florentine home. Elena who manages the property is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are very clean, the location is incredible! You have keys and can come and go as you please.The A/C goes off from approx 8am until 2/3pm as I recall, to help save energy, which I think is perfectly reasonable, as most guests are out at those times anyway. There's free WiFi and a fridge in the hallway. There's a great place for breakfast around the corner and a mini supermarket next door which is very handy. If you need a quiet, safe place to stay right in the heart of the historic centre, don't mind climbing stairs to 2nd floor, and are pretty independent, then this is the place for you. If however you're looking for extras like breakfast, free toiletries, a 24hr concierge and an elevator, then a hotel is probably better suited to your needs. Grazie mille Elena for a lovely stay.

This is a well run bnb (no food served). It's kept fairly clean and well decorated. Building is old like most in Italy but it's well maintained. The location is perfect as everything is walkable distance. I can go out, if I get tired come home take a nap and head out again without losing much time from getting home. Immediate neighborhood isn't too noisy as it's a few minutes away from hectic areas. There's also a mini fridge in the hallway (which was a nice surprise as it wasn't advertised). Price was reasonable so I'd likely come back in the future.

I highly recommend this beautiful hotel. Elena the owner is super sweet and helpful. I stayed by myself and I felt like home. The room was shiny and warm as the restroom. I will say again next year! Love this place !

The best thing about this hotel is the location. The room had an unpleasant smell, there was no one at the front desk upon checking in and when they are there, it’s only in the afternoon (but they did text us instructions on how to get into the room so that was very helpful) they have strict rules for the AC but that’s understandable. When the housekeeper was cleaning other rooms, they asked to clean ours and since we were checking out the next day we declined and they went in and “tidied” anyways. I’m sure there are plenty of other choices in the neighborhood, I’d recommend checking those out.

Thank you for your comment.To begin with, I allowed you to come to the hotel at a very late hour, that's why I left you the instructions.THREE days in a row you slept until the evening and it's normal for the room to stink if you haven't aired it and the maid didn't clean either because of your sleeping late.And the air conditioning was used non-stop.You had to pay extra.

Good location and value
Great hotel, great location for the price. Would definitely stay again. It wasn't a huge deal for my husband and I who are young, but I wouldn't stay here with my mom or someone else who doesn't handle stairs well. It is quite a few flights to get to the hotel, which is typical in Italy, just be prepared. Also, the mattress is in need of being swapped out. It was hard from use and had worn areas.

This experience has made me realise to always filter hotels, especially in Europe, according to whether they have lift access. Dragging my suitcase up and down six small flights of stairs was quite difficult. Luckily one of the hosts helped. The check-in was brief but informative. The main hotel door is tough to open which was hard to get the hang of. My room was probably one of the best with a kitchenette and private bathroom so got lucky. Spacious and comfortable. I do remember seeing that breakfast was offered but nothing but a coffee machine which you still had to pay for. Great, central location which is walking distance to main sights and station.

Como vê-se no anúncio, não é hotel. Então, avalio como se fosse uma pousada. Atende bem a proposta de quarto conforme anunciado. Espaçoso e agradável. Mas o diferencial é a excelente localização. O banheiro privativo é indispensável, principalmente em épocas mais frias.

Très bon choix.
Cet hôtel est à proximité de tout : lieux historiques, musées, restaurants, bars et magasins. L’accueil de Nino est sympathique et il nous a même offert une bouteille de vin. Le nécessaire est disponible et c’est propre. Notez que ce n’est pas bruyant et qu’on y dort bien la nuit. Qualité/prix très bien.

Nel cuore di Firenze.
Le uniche pecche sono dichiarate nella descrizione, ovvero secondo piano senza ascensore, niente colazione e segnale wifi debole nelle stanze,del resto siamo completamente soddisfatti: bellissimo il palazzo storico, favolosa la posizione, cortese e gentile il personale che ci ha accolto, buona la pulizia. Esperienza positiva.
