Rooms were nice, clean, quiet, and spacious. Nice location in real Florence neighborhood with good food nearby but also walkable to the river and the major attractions. Enrico, the proprietor, was very helpful, knowledgeable, and gracious.

Grazie Aaron!
you have been a really nice guests: it was a pleasure to have some chat with you.
Take care and good luck for the future ;)
This little gem just 5 min away from the center of the city by bike is family owned. The room we rented was very spacious and super clean, and it comprised of two bedrooms and a nice private bathroom. The host had time to help us Find a parking spot right in front of the property as we arrived very late and there were no spaces left anymore. He was also very kind, knowledgeable about the city and restaurants. Even though it was late, he took the time to pull out a map and mark must-sees for us.
The beds were very comfortable and the location very convenient for our needs. There’s also a very cute balcony and we enjoyed wine, cheese, and prosciutto outdoors one afternoon. Far enough that it was quiet and priced accordingly and close enough that you can walk to the center in 15-20min or grab one of the bikes and be in the midsts of the action in 5min.
On our last day the host went out of his way to help us tremendously for which we are extremely grateful.
Without any doubt we will be staying here during any future visit to Florence. Grazie Mille Enrico!

Enrico was a great host and suggested places to visit and eat out at. Very nice and lively neighborhood. Walking distance to the local historical sites.

B&B CIMABUE 9
The room windows open to the shared patio, therefore privacy is impossible.
There is a common kitchen / checking area outside the door so that noise level is high too from this side.
The room and bath are clean and large.
The staff is very friendly and gave us a ride to the new hotel we checked in after the first night there.
Will not return.

Dear guest,
B&B Cimabue 9, is not an hotel or an hostel: it is a bed and breakfast where ususally people enjoy their holidays.
In over twelve years, you are the first complaining about privacy, and I do not get why.
At least you like the room, bathroom and staff - me ;) - so I really do not understand why do you put only 2 point on 5.
I hope you enjoyed your stay at the other hotel where I bring you (for free).
Take care and good luck.
The room had high quality finishes and was spotlessly clean. The apartment's owner went above and beyond to help us and to make us feel welcome. I highly recommend Cimabue 9.
The apartment was a great fit for our family of 5. The location was wonderful, close to the beach and many restaurants. Bilel, the host, was very helpful in getting us settled in. A great place to stay!!
We stayed at this B&B for 3 nights during our time in Florence. The owner Enrico was so helpful and labelled a map for us in great detail, which was used our entire time in the city. The room was beautiful and very clean; the only negatives being that pull out chair/bed was not extremely comfortable (the main bed was fine) and we had some issues with the air conditioning (but that was likely due to us not understanding the controls.. we didn't ask about it and just opened windows instead). The location is outside of all the touristy areas, which meant that it was a 20-25 minute walk to most tourist spots. But it also meant that the stores, restaurants, and cafes near the hotel were not geared toward tourists and were more authentic Italian and affordable. If we ever return to Florence, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Everything was perfect staying here...we loved the room, the house and the location is convenient for buses or simply taking walk to centre ( few minutes). The breakfast was good too. Highly recommended!!!!!!!
Very friendly B&B. Nice neighborhood and accessable to walking or public transport. Staff quite helpful. Might need to call hotel ahead of arrival to arrange for parking in case you got a car.
Nice stay in Florence. Clean room and friendly staff. Breakfast is good but not healthy for the waistline, the pastries are delicious! A little walk(about a mile) to the city center, but a good idea after eating the pastries. :) We were told about nearby bus lines but we never took the bus, Enrico gave us a map and great directions to everything we wanted to see.
Great value accommodation 20 mins walk from centre
Very enjoyable stay at Cimabue 9 on the outskirts of Florence - about 20 minutes walk to Duomo. Enrico was a wonderful host, giving us a briefing using a free map on walking route into Florence, use of public transport and some of the best tourist sites. He provided a nice continental breakfast, with fresh pastries from the local bakery and top-notch cappuccinos.
Enricho was very kind and warm regarding information or additional issues we asked him. The Cappuccino coffee was delicious and the room and bath 100% clean and suitable. The location useful as well
My wife and I came to Florence for the Marathon. We mainly chose the hotel because it is very close to the starting of the race. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the service and care at the hotel. Little things like (especially for a B&B) waiting for us to arrive late on Friday night (at about midnight) and still taking the time to show us everything upon arrival. The main proprietor was sick on Saturday so wasn't able to do the full breakfast but there was still something. He apologized to us for this the next day and offered us a free breakfast (and didn't charge for the other one). Very good service and nice personal touch. I recommend it for sure.
Excellent service from Enrico,he was very helpful and pleasant with his tips on what to see & get around the city.Told us some great places to eat.Altogether a great place to stay.
Hotel is really close to the main area where everything is but just far enough away to avoid the noise. Neighborhood has some good restaurants, not far away. Host is a great guy who is very helpful and informative. Room was very clean and a good size for our needs.

The owner Enrico was really nice, but...
The room was not more than o.k., the television didn't work and the breakfast was embarassing. It's a shame cause the location is quite good.

There was a storm the morning you arrived that's why tv wasn't working.
If do you remember, you told me that you almost went off road with car because of the strong wind. The storm made a lot of damnage in all Tuscany, included my antenna, but I'm sure you didn't come to Florence to watch Tv...
You could just tell me your special request for breakfast.
About room: I don't know what to say, other guest like it.
Everything about this place starting from Enrico the hits, to location to ease of access to center Firenze is excellent. I will stay here again. The only negative is the bed is not ultra comfortable but it did not bother us. The room we had had enough space , very clean and private and the host was delightful. Great terrace to eat breakfast in true Italian style. We absolutely lived it.... Enrico was a great b&b host.helped us with tickets to museums, directions etc and makes a really good morning cappuccino.
On of the best places we stayed during our vacation. It is close to the city center, if you do not want to walk there is a bus stop around the corner. (make sure to get your ticket before riding the bus - 1.20 in June 2014). I recommend to walk. For those on a budget there is a super market 2 short blocks away (Coop). We had access to a patio next to the room to enjoy our meals there. Enrico was very informative, and always ready to answer our questions. There is a restaurant a block away open until midnight. Do not get discourage for the 1.4 miles from the city center. Safe area. I highly recommend this place.
Great place walking distance from the centre of Florence. Easy access by bus also. Free WiFi. Room was clean and comfortable. Only thing was a bit noisey at night from the traffic but nothing major.
Such a lovely lot of space for a hotel so close to town. Its a lovely walk along the river to town. In the evening there are pop up bars and cafes just across the river over summer. The family were so helpful and keen to help during our stay. Lovely and authentic stay.
stayed for 3 nights. great place. easy access to all major sites, but still in a quiet neighborhood. Enrico is the best host! He is very friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms, including bathroom, are spacious, clean and comfortable. Cannot recommend more!
We loved this place. Even though they were doing some remodeling on other rooms, ours was clean and cool. The gentleman whose family owns the place was so nice and helpful. The location is a little outside of the city center, but the price and the individual attention made it perfect for us. We highly recommend the B&B Cimabue!
We had a very enjoyable stay in Florence. Our host was very accommodating and friendly. The B&B was more like a home from home, you felt you were in your own kitchen, a very relaxed atmosphere.
There were building works taking place during our stay, but our host had contacted us before our visit to let us know and enquire whether or not we still wished to stay. He spoke to the workman and asked them to delay their work until guests had left for the day.
Enrico is a wonderful host and really made our stay in Florence a pleasure. He is helpful and friendly and goes out of his way to make guests feel at home. We highly recommend B&B Cimabue. It's proximity to the centre of Florence is also a huge benefit.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Enrico was a gracious host. We had the opportunity to meet his parents and they were just as lovely and ready to help. The cappuccino's are great. Breakfast consisted of cereal, pastries, jam and coffee/tea. The main eating area is cozy and it allows you the chance to talk to the other guests. We actually made some great friends while staying there and are planning our next trip to visit them! There is a nice terrace adjacent to the eating area that's a great outdoor escape in nice weather. The location may seem a little out of the way, but it gives you the chance to see more of Florence. We ended up really loving the neighborhood. It's about 30-40 minutes to the Termini but only 20 minutes or so to the Duomo or the Uffitzi and 10 minutes to Santa Croce. And with Florence's smaller layout, you easily get the feel of the city and staying at Cimabue 9 only adds to this effect.
We had Room 1 (ask to see the ceiling if it's not being used) and the room is spacious with a large bathroom. The towels are nice and big and they even have a towel warmer! Enrico and his family were able to get us reservations to the Academia (the David) and the Uffitzi, which we couldn't have done on our own. The walls are thin so you can sometimes hear a little bit of traffic at night - but that's truly the same as living in any Italian city (we went to several and it was no worse than anywhere else).
Overall, we loved our experience and would recommend it!

A presto.
In my opinion this is more than a B&B.
For a small charge we got breakfast in the dining area at the time we chose, with the usual stuff plus fresh pastries from the nearby bakery and good coffee, cappuccino or hot cocoa prepared by the guy who runs the place (Enrico).
When we arrived, Enrico provided us with all the information about how to get to the city centre drawing the path on the map, pointed to where to take the public transportation. He was also able to give us a 10 euro day parking permit, so we did not have to worry about the car.
We were a group of five with two kids and those extra things made our stay very easy.
For nearby restaurants I suggest the trattoria in Via Vincenzo Gioberti (forgot the name)

It was okay for us. Nothing good, nothing bad, nothing special.
