Recently stayed two nights at this unique property. We loved our stay and will definitely stay again. Our room was beautiful! It has unique antique furniture pieces, comfortable beds, and a recently updated bathroom with excellent lighting. We slept very well. It is in an overall quiet area. The staff was incredible! They were very friendly and had wonderful dinner and gelato recommendations. They really cared about you and your comfort during your stay. They even called and made us dinner reservations for an amazing restaurant at the end of the square. We loved the breakfast each morning. Good selection and delicious coffee from the fancy coffee machine. You have to cross the bridge to get into Florence as this is a residential area, but the walk was fine for us, but keep that in mind or take public transport if you have large luggage or troubles with walking distances. We walked to and from the train station, and it took us about 15 minutes. Getting into Florence near the Duomo took us 10-15 minutes. We wish we could have stayed longer. We loved Florence and the kindness and patience of the Italians we encountered.

The reception was very kind helping me find another room when my flight was cancelled and they could not accommodate me for another day. I had a private bath, but it was some distance down the hall.

We had a wonderful stay here. A beautiful building with helpful and welcoming staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and an excellent location. It’s just out of the hectic touristy centre but minutes walk from the key sites with lots of restaurants, bars and squares to explore right on the doorstep. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in Florence!

Very dirty and not good facilities for families and no AC or fans in the room and in the lobby and the breakfast area. The bathroom was very dirty and unpleasant to have a shower or use the toilet. The lift had no ventilation so no air to breathe while you travel in it. There were very unpleasant odours in the whole hotel, they don’t spray anything to refresh the air. We parked in their secured car parking for €25 per but when we came to the car we found our car covered with birds poop and we had to clean the whole car. I’m not happy with it and it’s ruined my holiday mood and also we were very disappointed.

Dear Guest,we are very sorry that you didn't enjoyed your stay in our House. During your stay we discussed about your problem with the AC and the bathroom. We offered to change room but you refused, we insisted and gave you a fan (so you had ac + fan). There's Ac in all the rooms and fans in the lobby and breakfast room.Unfortunatelly this is a really exceptionally hot period in the whole south Europe. Kindest regards

Wonderful 2-night stay in Florence! My family and I were all comfortable staying in the room with 5 beds. Lots of hot water in the shower! The reception staff were all very friendly and helped me to figure out the best ways to get to different points of interest - by taxi and by tram. I would definitely recommend anyone spending time in Florence to stay at this amazing property!

Interesting old convent with gardens. Certainly a unique experience. Unfortunately the area around was noisy. I had the worst lodging experience of my life when an Italian rap/hip hop group set up In plaza outside my window and played for hours into the early morning. The staff would do nothing or change our room.

We are sorry for the unauthorized demonstration that took place in the square where we are, we were not aware of it and we could do little about it, if not call the police. Unfortunately that evening we were full so it was not possible for us to be able to offer another accommodation and we regret that what happened outside our responsibility left her with just this memory of us. This was a unique place to stay as it is a former monastery with lots of the original features and very spacious. The painted ceiling in our room was amazing. Our bathroom was not en-suite but next door. It wasn't a problem at all and it was for our personal use only. Lots of little areas to sit inside and out. Staff very helpful with advice on local transport and places to visit etc.

Not a hotel!! Convent, perhaps.
Not at all what we expected. It looked like an old classic building in the listing that was quite grand however it was very sparce and more like a religious convent or missionary than a hotel. Very few facilities. Very hot no air conditioning, no television in room. Dated toilet and shower room that were apart. Key had to be left at reception before leaving property as it was too heavy to carry around we were told! Strange rule. It is quiet and creepy and the children were too scared to stay so we left shortly after arriving to find somewhere else to stay. We asked not to pay in full but were refused. I would not recommend this place at all. Definitely not worth the money. The listing should reflect better that it is very bare and basic. Don't go there unless you want to pray in solitude!

My family enjoyed staying in a convent. It was off a peaceful street and the bilding itself was cool. The breakfast was a buffet and everyone could find something to eat. Cereal, croissants, bread, deli meats, sliced cheese, canned peaches, yogurt, and any kind of coffee. The only bummer was the heat. It was so hot we had to keep the windows open. And it was LOUD outside. I mean L-O-U-D. One night there was construction happening. Then there were the screaming young people. Had we been able to shut the windows, we could have dampened the noise. The staff were lovely and I'd go back in the Spring or Fall.

No AC?? You can’t leave after 9:30 pm? Is this a joke? This place is extremely hot, and we couldn’t even stay there. The place is dreadful and it has a horrible vibe. Bad services and nasty attitude employees. This is the worst hotel experience I ever had. DO NOT STAY THERE! I’m Not picky but this is just a bad bad joke.

Super interesting hotel
It is off the common path and we had a very hard time finding from the train station. Way back with front desk directions much better. Such an interesting hotel- fun to wander around. Bus around corner very convienent. Nothing much nearby quiet and safe.

This is a beautiful place to stay in an artsy neighborhood. The hotel itself was nice and quiet, the room had a comfy bed and great shower. Only drawback was the room was chilly with a really cold brick floor ( bring slippers!)

Beautiful ancient building converted to hotel.
A beautiful historic building in the centre of Florence which has been converted to a hotel. Fantastic breakfast and helpful, friendly staff. Parking is available but be sure to let the hotel know in advance do they can reserve a spot. The car park entrance is also very narrow so don't arrive in a giant SUV or you may have problems. We managed with a Peugeot 3008. It's about 10 minutes walk to the ponte Vecchio and then straight into Florence Central.

Amazing stay hotel great staff were so accomodating. Especially Guiliette we had information and great service from her. This is the second time we have stayed here it's simple humble convent with beautiful furniture and splendid rooms. Three garden is peaceful and fabulous after the hustle and bustle of Florence. The local area is pleasant with good restaurants and shops. Breakfast is humble cheese ham bread croissants jams etc but enough choice for most travelers and sets you up for the day. If i had a wish list it would be for a fridge and coffee making facilities in the room. The mosquitos were present but they live there so take precautions .The hotel put mosquito repellant in all rooms. If i went again i would definitely stay there again.

This has to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a hotel. We decided to book this particular property as it states, incorrectly, that there is parking available. Only that they fail to mention that the hotel is inside a traffic controlled zone where one cannot enter freely nor is there any public parking available. If you are lucky enough to be able to park inside the courtyard you still cannot come and go as you please as there are restrictions getting into the hotel zone. Another issue is that the rooms are really boiling hot and one tiny fan at the corner only makes it even more difficult to disperse the heat. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
