Fantastic in every way. Rare these days to get shown to your room, complimentary drinks and personalised service. Food was also really top class!

Really lovely room with a stand alone bath. Good value and the staff were lovely. We liked the menu in the restaurant, although found while the food was well presented, it was under seasoned & a bit bland-something that could be easily rectified. We liked that fine wine by the glass was an option, although sadly not on the evening we visited as a machine to store it wasn't working.

Lovely hotel & 110% will stay again
Very friendly & very helpful staff, nothing was too trouble. Very clean & comfortable room. Breakfast was great with lots of choice.

A real gem in the countryside! Quiet rural location with room to wander the garden. Room was very clean and comfortable but only (but very yummy) pizza for dinner. Bar was well stocked and comfortable. Staff are lovely!

Great staff and super soft pillows!!!
Wasn't there long - pillows were brilliant though!! Slight hiccup with the booking in that I accidentally booked the wrong night but Harry was a savior and quickly swapped it over which isn't always possible when booking on Hotels.com. Ate before I arrived so would have been good to sample the breakfast but shame they didn't start until 7.30am; 7am would have worked for me

Very relaxed place to stay, bedroom was well decorated & comfy. The only downside is road noise, however there was a fan in the room so closing the window helped. Staff were very friendly & food was fantastic. Great value. Would stay again.

Lovely family room at the top of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of car parking. Restaurant and breakfast was great. All in all a great experience.

Good accommodation but pricey food.
Accommodation was lovely, a small room but I knew that when booking. Water pressure in the bathroom sink was however almost non existent. Only running at a crawl. They offered breakfast but it was too late for me as I had an early start. Food in the pub was expensive, drinks too. Service was also extremely slow. Despite being table service, I was having to go to the bar to get served. I would stay again but don't think I'd eat there unless it was a treat.

Wonderful country hotel with amazing food
Loved our stay at this country hotel. Comfortable bed and great shower. The food is the real outstanding factor and we will definitely be returning. The only area for improvement is the cleanliness of the room - rather dusty all around and the cleaning team need to up their game to make this the perfect stay.

Gorgeous and cosy country retreat
Fantastic stay! The staff were so friendly and the location is charming. I really liked that they employed so many young staff (I mention because this has been a negative for other guests). It’s great to know that the business is supporting young people to learn new skills. The decor is great and the food was fabulous!
