“Vista hotel Review Stayed Oct 14 and 15 2011”

Arrived at hotel about 6PM. Front desk service was nice friendly and prompt. Room was semi-clean. there were brown stains on the carpet. and first walk into the room was overpowered by a smell of air freshener. went away fast but smelled it every time I walked into the room. Bed was a king size and was very uncomfortable. felt like the springs were gone. had 2 nights of bad sleep. the room had a huge window out into the hall that the curtain covered but let a lot of light and noise from the hall into the room. this added to the bad sleep. The hotel offered a "HOT AND COLD BUFFET BREAKFAST" my thought was it would be a "BUFFET" as advertised but it was very very FAR from a buffet. The breakfast was a single serving only. Saturday morning was 2 small sausages and 2 small thin pieces of french toast (tasted store bought) and done in a toaster. sausages were old tasting. my Wife asked for orange Juice and was served Tang drink Sunday breakfast was 2 pancakes and the same 2 sausages. the pancakes were very small store bought and warmed up. I asked them for some Eggs and I was told it was extra cost. Some Buffet. Overall I would not ever stay at this hotel again. The room was clean but very uncomfortable. the room had an overpowering air freshener smell (masking something? - I don't know. the breakfast buffet was not a buffet at all and not even worth the free price it was. overall very unsatisfied Hotel claims 3 stars would give them 1.5 stars

“Will not stay there again”

Have stayed at this hotel 3 times prior and really liked it. Not this time! Waited 15 min to check in because there was 2 hotel clerks and only one of them was doing any work. Had to book a smoking room because it was the only available so I expected to have a smokey smelling room. I did not expect to have a room with yellow smoke stains dripping down the door. Bed was so uncomfortable it was like sleeping on a driveway and pillows were as soft as a book. Our door led to the outside and there was old bed frames laying around, pop bottles, planters, and a ratty tshirt laying in the grass. After a night of absolutely no sleep we went to the restaurant to eat what was suppose to be our free hot breakfast. In times past it was set up buffet style and a server brought you drinks. It was great, this time however we sat a dirty table because there were no clean ones available and waited 15 min without even a single glance from the lone waiter that was trying to serve a restaurant full of people by himself. Needless to say we left w/o our free breakfast. Dissapointed w everything to say the least!!

“Horrible”

My wife was dis-pleased with the condition of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. She went down for a continental breakfast in the morning and was told we only have waffles. I didn`t know " waffles" was considered a continental breakfast? Also asked for de-caf coffee and was told, we don`t have that here. No juice, fruit rolls etc.(a normal continental breakfast) She went to the front desk to inform the manage and he just seemed dis-interested with the whole situation.

“OK for the price”

ok for the price. Bathroom wasn't as clean as I would have liked to see. Rest of the room was fine. OK pool area.

This was a horrible experience.WE could not find our room as nobody told us we had to go outside to access it..could not be accessed from hallway...the company advertises a complimentary hot breakfast .Well it was far from that.The one and only waitress working that a.m. told us that they had no bacon,no breakfast potatoes no juice,and all we could have was scrambled eggs and toast.well coffee was like hot water,the scrambled eggs were cold as was the toast a horrible and disgusting breakfast.The room was dirty and was supposed to be a non smoking room..Well it stunk worse than a smoking casino..

The hot breakfast is not good. The room was mostly clean. It is cheap and allows smoking. It suited my business needs.

“frightened in Fargo”

There was a hole in the bathroom wall, plugged with toilet paper. There looked to be blood on the box spring, nasty. Hair in the sinks, the locks were loose. This was disgusting.

“It was ok”

Pool was very cold, which was very disappointing as we stayed there to swim. My daughters lips turned blue and she shivered! Won't stay there again.
