We had a 2 night stay at Trengilly Wartha. The staff were lovely, very friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend the hotel. We will be back!

The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The food was out of this world it was fantastic. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was superb.

a good manager sorts out difficulties
The hotel staff were very helpful. Although, it was a busy night in the restaurant, and there were mistakes ... these were rectified without any fuss and very amicably. The room was fine, the breakfast superb ... I would definitely stay again if in that part of Cornwall, unfortunately my next visit is likely to be on the north coast in Hayle.

We really enjoyed our stay whilst exploring the local area. The Trengilly Wartha Inn is set in a remote secluded setting nestling in shrubbery. Totally idillic. The staff were warm and friendly. The food was good and well presented.

The best 4 days ever
It was an amazing place to to stay amazing staff and friendly. The food was amazing to what more could you ask for It was about 40min from st Ives and st Michael mount easy to explore the area. We will be back soon

Great place to stay.
Just back from a few days at Trengilly and thought I would leave a review. This place is well off the beaten track, so if you want easy, perhaps this is not for you. However, if you make the effort you will find a wonderful and very old hotel, that offers something different. It’s not modern inside either, but you can feel the history in the walls of the building. If you like food, you have come to the right place, the standard is excellent with both breakfast and evening meals being cooked and presented superbly; deserts are to die for. There is a decent selection of beers/ ales to choose from. We stayed in room three, which is an adequate size. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean, even the pillows (yes I checked below the covers). It’s dog friendly but does not smell of dog. We were surprised by the amount of ‘locals’ as this place is in the middle of nowhere, which tells you about the atmosphere and service. Overall we had a great few days and I would recommend this hotel/pub to anyone who fancies a change from the bland, modern hotels.

A perfect local Anniversary break
Will and Lisa the owners, Emily the manager and all there staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We were made very comfortable on every level, wonderful breakfast and evening meals. Very comfy bed, basic room lovely bath and power shower. Very pet friendly and our two dogs had a fab time with wonderful nearby walks. Idyllic setting and very environmentally friendly large gardens.

Stayed Monday to Friday last week, could not fault anything about the accommodation, staff were really friendly, nothing was too much, breakfast was amazing ,we had an evening meal one night and this was the best evening meal we had all week as ate out most evenings. We would definitely recommend The Trengilly to our friends and family and look forward to visiting again.

A lovely hideaway
We stayed for two nights with our two young kids, the family suite we were given was more than we expected, with two bedrooms and seperate large bathroom. Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great to start our day. Lovely space outside and pub was not noisy at night. It is a bit off the beaten track but definitely will be used by us again.

A lovely family night away from home...
We stayed for one night in the family room and it was brilliant.... The size was fantastic a separate room with bunk beds for the children... The bathroom was a lovely size too... All very clean and smelling really nice... Very inviting.... We had a family meal in the snug and the food we had was very nice and a lovely menu to choose from... The breakfast was good too and not just a full English to choose from either... Over all a lovely stay and we would be more than happy to return for another stay...

We stayed at Trengilly Wartha for 1 night in August and wished we could have stayed longer. The Inn is set in a beautiful tranquil location and the annexe room we stayed in was lovely, very clean and well presented. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic. A great place to stay. I would highly recommend.

The location was very isolated down very narrow lanes. The impression of the property was it was a little ramshackled.We did not feel it was good value. However the catering was good. We would not repeat a stay.

For an inexpensive stay with good food and friendly staff, I recommend this place. We had a well provided, comfortable room and I enjoyed my stay here. However, it is in need of some serious renovation and updating in all areas of its operation so do not expect a four star visit. Take it for what it is, a good country pub B & B

That's What I Call A Kipper.
Very nice place to stay. The food and beer was great, room clean and comfortable. It is situated in lovely peaceful surroundings, happy to stay again. Oh and the smoked fish served at breakfast was a fine specimen.

Well worth a visit if you like a quiet stay,
We went there overnight as we had a family party nearby. There were 5 of us. The rooms were large, clean and well appointed. I particularly liked the use of local produce both in the restaurant and the room e.g. local tea and chocolate. The food was of a very high standard. Quite remotely situated but very tranquil.

Great if you want to be away from anything connected to the outside world. Quiet and peaceful.steep stairs no elevator but if able go ahead. Nice room. Good parking. Drive towards it too narrow for my liking. Enjoyed but too basic for me. No problem but would not stay again.

Sorry if you feel there is not a lot going on but we feel that there is a lot going on around here. We have great walking, fishing, swimming, beaches, surfing kayaking, boating, nature watching, horse riding, real ales, great food, loads of games when it rains, acoustic music twice a week Quiz nights in the winter, Whisky tastings, Wine tastings, or just chatting in our friendly bar.

A mix up with the room booked was quickly resolved (thank you to Will). Subsequently we enjoyed a wonderful, peaceful stay in a beautiful location tucked away in lovely Cornish woodland. The approach is a little narrow but plenty of passing places (Note: take the left in the village of Constantine, just after Spar - do NOT go any other way, as the lane is extremely narrow and very long!). Room was comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Delicious local food is served here and the bar is well stocked (particularly if you are a whisky fan!) Highly recommended.

Enjoyed our first short stay here. Staff very friendly and helpfull. All meals delicious and hot! Location a little more remote than expected, glad we had sat nav to guide us. Our room (no 4 )ok but needs updating with fully functional shower.
