"We took a brief trip to PR with our 5 year old and chose Fernando’s place on a bit of a whim as this was our first visit to the island. It turned out to be an excellent choice! We spent a day at the beach, a day in El Yunque, a day in old San Juan, and made a visit to Parque Forestal la Marquesa on our last day before heading to the airport. The house was spacious, clean, and had all of the things we needed to make our stay easy. The house is about a half an hour from El Yunque, and an hour from old San Juan. The bioluminescent bay tours originate just down the road (3 minute drive). And of course there is the 7 seas beach, right across the street. The beach is full of shade trees and the calmest warm waters you could ask for with a small kid. If you can, I suggest walking down past the life guard shacks as the beach is a little nicer and there. The house came with all of the beach stuff we needed, which was great. We didn’t use everything the house had to offer because we were busy exploring everything the island has offer, but the location was convenient for us and Fernando was very easy to deal with."
