Great hotel in Enkhuizen
This is a lovely hotel in a quiet part of Enkhuizen, in a mostly residential area. "Downtown"/the harbor area is about a 20 minute walk with some beautiful old houses along the way. Service was excellent, the rooms were spacious and modern and well-maintained and the breakfast area/lounge is very comfortable. The continental breakfast buffet was quite good with plenty of choices. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay
Super nice and helpful staff. Due to Covid restrictions, I was one of the only guests during my stay at the Hotel De Koepoort. The one staff member set up a great buffet breakfast and cooked great meals (especially since all of the restaurants were closed). They were very friendly and helpful during my stay during the odd conditions. Room was a good size, very clean, and had good wifi. Parking was right across the street which was convenient.

excellent location when arriving by car
Please note that I booked two rooms with Expedia but had to cancel my sister's room ( Dr. Joan Dickson,) owing to illness This cancellation was made with the hotel by telephone several days in advance . The staff could not have been more understanding.

The staff were friendly and wecoming but the hotel is a bit of a walk from the station, which is a consideration if elderly or with lots of luggage. The hotel itself, lounge and lobbies sre updated, modern, but lack real charm. The room was nice and quiet, bed nice. Breakfast so/so.

We loved this hotel the staff were very welcoming and helpful,the room was beautifully decorated,clean and very comfortable. Old town was in easy walking distance,with restaurants and shops. We would definitely highly recommend and would stay again.

Great two days in Enkhuizen
Very nice hotel fully re furbished,good location right at the entrance to Enkhuizen,pleasant walk to all areas of the town. Added bonus the hotel had it's own parking facility for euro 8 per day

A stylish spot
We stayed here for a night while visiting Enkhoesen for a birthday party on one of the beautiful old boats that sails from the harbour of this delightful old town. The staff were really welcoming, everything was spotlessly clean, the room though small was well appointed, and the bar/restaurant area full of original art. Excellent value for money

Quaint yet modern, stylish and comfortable
I stayed here in October 2012 and liked it then, after extensive renovations it is even nicer now. Great location at the end of main street, next to the war memorial and a lovely park and canal with walking trails. Convenient parking. Friendly staff, nice breakfast/restaurant. I wish the rooms had refrigerators and screens on the windows to keep bugs out.

at the edge of town
This is a lovely hotel at the edge of town. It was comfortable and quiet with a nice breakfast buffet. Pillows were abit hard but big enough. Nice rooms and lovely view out of window and balcony.The one problem is the parking. It seems as if the town does require parking permits so the hotel does provide some parking but not enough spaces. The parking fee should be included in the price.It is a nice but long walk into center.

Very clean, modern furnishings in a classic European building. Staff were amazing. The meals were the highlight. We had a Christmas special four-course meal with wines for each course that was a dining delight.

This hotel was situated in walking distance to everything in this beautiful town. The service was great, including the hours that breakfast was offered. Everything seemed new, was clean and comfy and free WiFi is available.

Wij hebben 1 overnachting gedaan in Hotel De Koepoort. Wij waren in Enkhuizen wegens familie omstandigheden. Een voortreffelijk hotel waar wij ons direct thuisvoelden. Vriendelijke ontvangst! Leuke kamer en een goed ontbijt. Een aanrader voor hen die een hotel zoeken in of in de omgeving van Enkhuizen!

Schnell mit dem Auto erreichbar, gute Lage mit eigenem Parkplatz. Bis zum Hafen ca. 1 km, der Ladenzeile 600 m und zum nächsten Supermarkt ca. 400 m. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und modern eingerichtet. Lift in die Etagen, nette Bar u. zweckmäßig, geschmackvoller Frühstücksraum. Kleines Fitnessstudio für den Schlechtwettertag oder Chillout am Abend. Das gebuchte Zimmer war ebenfalls geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr groß. Das Kingsizebett eine Wucht! Fernsehen leider nur vom Bett u. nicht vom vorhandenem Sofa aus. Kaffeekapselmaschine und Welcomesnack, nett. Leider nur ein kleiner Schrank, wahrscheinlich der hohen Fluktuation der Gäste geschuldet - Leben aus dem Koffer. Nicht so gut die Möglichkeit normal zu lüften. Klevere Lucken, aber kein Mückenschutz. Die Grachten und der gegenüberliegende Burg/ Stadtgraben sind eine prächtige Brutstätte. Derm hellen Teppichboden und dem ebenfalls hellen Sofa täten eine Generallsäuberung gut. Man sieht wo gereinigt wurde und wo lange nicht. Das Badezimmer: Riesig, mit Wellnessspawanne de Luxe! Die Dusche ohne Abtrennung, Überschwemmung vorprogrammiert. Service an der Rezeption sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war für uns ausreichend, es wurde zudem ständig nachgelegt und zügig abgeräumt und wieder eingedeckt. Der Zimmerservice ist verbesserungsfähig: Neben den Punkten zur Reinlichkeit von Teppich und Sofa ist anzumerken, das s ein Zuschlagen und oberflächliches richten der Bezüge und Kissen nicht ausreichend ist bzw. verzichtet werden kann.
