Modern rooms in a classic hotel/casino with lots of charm. Bed was very comfortable and room had a great shower. Free breakfast was at dennys inside the casino. Also a voucher for a free drink at a casino bar. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Tiny room . Tv, bed and one wood chair.sign on bathroom door says “ it being an old hotel be ready for the hot water to go cold at any time “, bathroom could not be smaller. Giant street sign could not be blocked out, very annoying

The hotel's definitely older and smelled older in the hallways. However, the rooms were nice and clean an up-to-date. The staff was great and very helpful. And having the Denny's right downstairs was nice to be able to have food available at anytime.

Pleasantly surprised. Even though this is an older property, the room was very clean, the bed was very comfy, all of the employees were very nice and helpful. Don't hesitate. The price is right and so is everything else.

We we're alittle concerned when we first walked in, Cigarette smoke. Our room you couldn't smell it! We we're happier about that. The stay went great! Very comfortable. We will stay again.

Very cool place but as a very old historical hotel the rooms are vary small but it only would be an issue if u needed extra room. I enjoyed my time there

Extremely old property! Tiny bathroom with sink smaller than in an RV! Old bathtub with worn out areas! Old carpeting! Hardly any outlets in room to charge phone or computers, etc. Casino extremely smoky! Denny’s was convenient in same building!

Ms. Anthony, yes our property was built in 1929 where there were NO bathrooms in the rooms at all. In 1940's bathrooms were added and yes they are small as well. Smaller sinks were put in to allow extra room to move around. Not sure how large of a sink is needed for an overnight stay. We have been replacing bathtubs as rooms are remodel, however, it is very time consuming as the tubs have to be broken out because they are cast iron and floors have to be jackhammered due to them being solid 3 foot concrete as well as the walls. Carpeting is also being replaced. There are wall outlets as well as 2 wall outlets on lamp along with 4 USB ports to charge electronics. Again, not sure how many more outlets you need for an overnight stay for 2 people. Yes casino is smoky, we have smoke eaters everywhere but they can only do so much.

The people at Hotel Nevada were super friendly and really made us feel welcome. We received drink tickets for the bar and had a nice drink in the evening. The room was nice and quiet. The only downside was the smoky casino area - but we didn't spend much time there.

Quaint hotel, suites are large and roomy, older style but fun too. Casino is decent and Denny's food was good, easy walk to another restaurant and bar down the street, parking on side of hotel.

Lynn at the front desk was awesome and treated myself and wife like royalty. She is a true credit to the hotel. You could tell she enjoyed her job and making things right. Thanks for the perk you provided on 2024-03-25. She made the whole trip. The waitress in the restaurant was also great and even gave me a place to plug my phone in. Good job folks!!!

BEWARE! Filthy carpets, blood specks (likely from bed bugs) on the mattress as well as a huge urine stain! Stuff was dismissive and completely unhelpful in attempts to change to a different room so I have no idea if other rooms/ beds would be better BUT she did say “all the rooms are the same”! Tub was cracked and stained. Ended up leaving and losing our money. Went to the Ramada which offered an average room without stained mattresses!

Julie: In response to your review it is VERY MUCH NOT TRUE! You unfortunately were not in a remodeled room which does not have carpeting and we have not gotten to all the rooms yet. There were not bloody specks on the mattress & we certainly DO NOT have bed bugs. There was a small urine stain on the mattress. When you went to the desk to ask to change rooms my clerk was on the phone taking a reservation which you did not seem to think you had to wait till she as done. You slammed the keys on the counter and walked away. She was going to switch rooms for you once she was done on phone, being impatient on your part does not mean it is an emergency on our part. Being unpleasant and tearing our room apart does not make someone want to go out of their way to help a rude customer.

I've stayed here about 6 times in two years. They've been working on updating and remodeling the rooms and they are gorgeous. The property is in a smoking casino, and has a Denny's for dining. Included in your stay is breakfast at Denny's, and a beer or frozen margarita from their bar. It's so so reasonably priced with so many perks, I will continue to stay here in my trips to northern Nevada.

We always have a great stay here. Free complimentary drink and a free breakfast with coffee at Denny's in the morning. This is one of the oldest motels in Nevada and fun to stay at while traveling through the area.
