Marsa Alam Come Back
One of the newest resorts in the area of Marsa Alam only a few kilometres from the airport. Very spacious and comfortable rooms equipped with all the modern amenities. Great swimming pools and plenty of sun loungers around them as well as on the private beach - everyone can find a suitable spot to enjoy the sunshine. All inclusive formula with one open buffet restaurant called La Sultana and 4 a la carte (each dedicated to different regional cuisine). The quality of food in the main restaurant was good, however it can be improved in a la carte restaurants, particularly the hotel’s take-on the Italian dishes. Other facilities include a spa (worth visiting for its service and wide range of facials and massages) and a gym. Friendly staff throughout the hotel, although some waiters could work on their English language skills- some of them make simple mistakes after taking orders from customers, that can be a little irritating after a while. That being said, Steigenberger Alaya is definitely one of the best resorts in the area, worth choosing for one’s holiday on the Red Sea shores.

un hôtel magnifique avec d'excellentes prestations. Notre chambre était vers la mer et proche du centre de plongée : donc calme et pratique. Le personnel était aimable et attentionné. Des piscines splendides. un house reef au top. des animations de qualité et qui finissent à 23h00 ce qui est appréciable pour le calme. La restauration était diversifiée mais faire attention car mon conjoint a eu quelques soucis.... un mauvais hasard. Le docteur de l'hôtel est très bien mais attention aux tarifs : il faut vérifier avant de partir d'être bien assuré en cas de consultation. nous recommandons le steigenberger alaya et nous y retournerons certainement.

Raramente capita di trovare un vero 5 stelle con standard altissimi. Una magnifica struttura, dove l'ordine e la pulizia fanno da padrona, il tutto gestito da uno staff numerosissimo sempre attento ad ogni esigenza, tutti gentilissimi e con il sorriso sulle labbra. Servizio ristorazione spettacolare sia nei ristoranti a la carte sia nel buffet

Aufenthalt - Wlan - Tennisplätze
Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr angenehm. Der Service war hervorragend, alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Die Mitarbeiter am Pool waren äusserst aufmerksam. Sei es beim Platzieren der Sonnenschirme oder beim Verschieben der Liege, sofort war jeweils ein Mitarbeiter da, der einem half. Die Anlage war sehr gut unterhalten, alles immer sehr sauber und schön anzuschauen. Soviele gepflegte Pools habe ich bisher noch nicht gesehen. Alles sieht so aus wie in der Werbung. Auch die Buffets beim Essen waren immer schön angerichtet, die Auswahl hervorragend und abwechsungsreich. Sehr angenehm ist auch, dass viele Mitarbeiter deutsch sprechen, alle mindestens ein wenig Englisch. Als Kritik ist das Wlan zu erwähnen. Auf dem Zimmer knapp genügend und beim Pool zu schwach, hier würden einige Repeter sicher Abhilfe schaffen. Zudem wäre eine höhere Geschwindigkeit hilfreich. Die zweite Kritik betrifft das Wässern der Tennisplätze, das scheinbar gar nicht vorhanden ist. Insgesamt sind die 2 Sandplätze gut spielbar, jedoch viel zu trocken.

Nice location. New Hotel. Nice beach. Good food at buffet. Some good food at the very nice beach redtaurant. Hotel has 5 speciality restaurants however impossible to book as all restaurants are booked out. After heavy complaint we got two bookings. On the website it should clearly be stated that you may not get any bookings. Hotel was max to 50% occupeid. Wifi is very bad. In other hotels even at Abu Simbel wifi was a lot better. Hotel is very noisy. It starts at 10 AM with very loud animation. The noise ends only at 11:15 after the evening entertainment. English is to some extend very limited.

Alles sehr schön & gediegen, beheizter Pool, schöne & saubere Zimmer, gepflegte Anlage, gute Infrastruktur (Spa, Tauchschule, Ausflüge, Restaurants im Hotel, kostenlose Aktivitäten wie Yoga, Aquagym, Boccia, Volleyball, Dart, Tischtennis, usw), sxhönes Hausriff zum Schnorcheln und Tauchen, Personal spricht z.T. Deutsch, Service sehr zuvorkommend und nicht aufdringlich -> der perfekte Urlaub für anspruchsvolle Gäste
