Clean room, attentive friendly staff. The neighborhood is walkable and is tourist friendly. Uber readily available. Yes, the weekend music can be loud, request a lower level room if that is an issue for you. Comfortable bed, good wi-fi, some great skyline views from the top floor restaurant/bar, Don’t miss sunset.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location to experience all of Casco Viejo. Staff was so helpful. Loved the live music in the evenings. Hotel is clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful experience here. The staff was very attentive and accommodating to myself and my wife. Adalberto, Cindy, Giovanna, Marcos, Ruben, Nick. Carlos and the list go on and on. This staff members treated us like family. I know a missed quite a few names from the Queen as we called her at the front desk, Veronica the concierge to Emmanuel our driver. Everyone made our first stay in Panama amazing. We cannot leave out the bar tender in the hotel Lobby. He presented us with gifts, professionalisms and a great time. We cannot express our heartfelt appreciation enough. So, we thank you for a wonderful experience at Dreams Playa Bonita Panama. If your time was not filled with joy, it's your fault. Very nice hotel and people

This property is out of Panama City a ways but I wanted to be closer to the birding areas in the area. The hotel was likely a jewel in its day but the years are showing. The AC seems to be uncontrolled as other reviewers have noted. In my room, although I could set the temperature it just got colder & colder without regard to the thermostat setting so I had to turn it on and off manually. I got upgraded to a balcony room & there was rust all over the railings, worse one almost needed to be Hercules to open & close the "sliding" door. The 3 pools looked fine but I didn't use them. Breakfast was full buffet style with lots of choices and the restaurant had good offerings as well. Being a golf facility too I had hoped to find a lot of birds around, but alas, that was definitely not the case. There were some but nothing like what I had expected being surrounded by rainforest.

If I had a question the concierge had an answer. I felt so at home. right down the street is grocery store for anything I forgot. So much was in walking distance, fancy or casual restaurants, beautiful old buildings and musuiums. There is a unique blend of tourests and residence that gave me a feel for Panama
