"Nice overnight stay with my partner. Room spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. A little soft for my liking but I did sleep well. Was very thankful for the fan and I’m used to sleeping with one at home. Delicious food…the steak and ale pie was amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed the cooked breakfast before the long drive home. Would definitely recommend the Captain cook Inn and we would be more than happy to stay again. "

"Room was okay, but only that. The room was clean and tidy, however the bed was very creaky, not ideal if you were planning to have a romantic weekend!! Shower wasn’t the most powerful and the shower head was fixed in position with a cable tie, so no adjustment.
