"Friendly welcome, parking close by for £10 per day. Trains, taxis and buses all within spitting distance too. Room was smart, clean, fresh-smelling and comfortable. Close to all amenities, Checking in and out was hassle-free and staff were friendly. We were even asked if we needed to store luggage for the day when we checked out. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, and will certainly stay here again. "

"What a gem of a find and without hesitation would return. The bus stop is literally just outside around the corner where we got the bus to Scarborough for £2 esch way. We did the pub quiz on the Wednesday night for a good cause at only £1 each to enter with a free bowl of chips and a plate of sandwiches. The pub has a great atmosphere and we eat in the pub on the evening. I had home made steak pie with yorkshire puddings to start. The bedrooms are modern and very clean with tea msking facilities...

"Nice recently refurbished pub in the centre of Whitby. For a budget price this is a great option if staying in the centre of Whitby. No parking or breakfast, but there is a Council cat park opposite, and plenty of eateries nearby. "

"First time staying in Malton. Arrived Friday just after lunch on market day and parked just outside the building. Chapter 2 is a bar and served a couple of real ales as well as the usual range of beverages. The bar itself is very nice and staff were very friendly. After being shown to our room in a complex out the back of the building we had a couple of pints in a snug with a real fire blazing... just noce for an Autumnal day. The room itself was clean and quiet with a nice ensuite and a good...
