Stayed in the single room on the top floor which was quite spacious. Despite facing the main road it was very quiet and I had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was simple and adequate. Would stay here again

One night stay in Dunfermline, hotel in centre of town with good choice of restaurants & bars as well as historical venues in the area. Would definitely return to City Hotel &.recommend.

Breakfast was excellent but finishing at 9AM is ridiculous . Clients paying for hotel should get priority over people coming in off the street. Room was not cleaned by housekeeping on 1st day there. Bed not made and dirty cup left lying . Supposed to be an executive room. That's a joke . It was standard only .

City Hotwl excellent stay.
Amazing staff, very friendly, attentive and helpful. My room was very spacious and very clean. Absolutely no complaints and would definitely stay again.

Beds sooo comfy
Had a great stay. Had lunch which was delish highly recommend the haddock mornay. Breakfast wasn’t as good, but that’s more to do with my personal preference. Room was a good size bed was so comfy didn’t want to get up. And definitely recommend the Chinese whisper cocktail. Look forward to staying again.

Good Stay
Efficient reception. Good-sized room recently refurbished. Good bathroom with a large shower. Plenty of tea and coffee facilities. There was a good area to work at and the room had plenty of plug sockets and USB ports. Good breakfast and also a bar and restaurant on site. My main criticism would be the vertical blinds in the room, they bled a lot of light at night and, due to the gaps, when you moved you can end up with one of the bright LED car pack lights directly shining into your eyes.

Nice hotel, shame about the obnoxious guests
This is a favourite hotel I like to stay at and enjoyed room 22 this time as love attic rooms . Only downside this trip was a grumpy older reception female staff member and some obnoxious guests from Bury Lancashire who loved making noise at 2 am crashing around and these you people were anti Scottish, antisocial and anti disabled people as I was challenged by this group of 4 mixed young people why I needed a table to myself at breakfast and my answer was I’ve got lung problems and need space due to having invisible disabilities. This hotel is always nice to disabled and LGBT people and it was unusual and nasty having to put up with a group of young antisocial Lancastrian English bigots at breakfast and through the night was unpleasant

A favourite hotel I stay often at
10 th time stay as this is a favourite hotel I like to use when doing equality and diversity voluntary work as a member of the lgbt community. It’s also a nicer option as a stay if you are flying from Edinburgh or Glasgow airports Only negative is one of the older female reception staff is a bit unfriendly and grumpy

A long weekend for business - friendly attentive staff, large and comfortable room, reasonable food, will definitely use again. Disabled parking is scant to non-existent and there’s no lift. (If you tell me now there is one I will deduct a star)

It was good value. The staff were friendly, decent breakfast and the main areas were modern and well decorated . It is very central and parking was available. Would definitely stay again .
