Wonderful large home in peaceful location near Venice.
My wife and I stayed here 5 nights and had a wonderful time. Clean & modern yet retains it's country charm. The rooftop terrace is amazing. The bedrooms were large and nicely decorated. Great to have AC and washer/dryer. Fell in love with the Nespresso pod machine. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely stay here if in the area again. Getting to Venice was so easy from here with free parking at the train station in Terme Euganee Montegrotto and a quick 45 minute direct train that only cost 5.60 Euros each way. Padova is just a quick drive away. The supermarket is very convenient and less than 1 km away. Anima Chic Cafe is right next to that and was a very nice place. The lovely woman there helped us find a great restaurant in the area called Ristorante La Torre - da Jimmy. We ate there twice, the food, wine and atmosphere were all very nice. We had great communication from the property manager Nicola. The 5 nights here were the highlight of our 17 day trip to Germany & Italy. So glad we found this home. Thank you Nicola

Perfect Veneto Home
We had a wonderful stay at Nicola’s house in the Veneto. There was so much space for our family of six to enjoy and the location was perfect for exploring the region. Nicola was an excellent host who was very responsive to any questions we had. We hope to be able to come back again and stay longer.

Beautiful charming property
We so enjoyed our stay at this home. In a quiet lovely location along a canal outside Padua. Bedrooms well appointed and the roof terrace was especially delightful.

Fantastic central Locatio
The host is excellent, very communicative! This house has all the comforts of home and is centrally located to so many places. We loved the terrace each late afternoon and the tower kitchen! The bakery across the street is a special treat and we enjoyed talking with the baker and his wife. Drinks at Zhivagos across the street were also fun…very posh there! We arrived on the feast of St. Giustina and partook in a Mass and small festival right in the square in front of the house. This quiet, small village stole my heart!

At the center things in Pontemanco
This quiet mill town delighted us in every way! Our host made us very comfortable and provided bicycles for us to tour the neighbourhood. We were conveniently located to travel by car and train to visit Padua, Venice, Vicenza, and Cittadella. We were also delighted to discover the Euganean Hills, Arqua Petrarca and other medieval towns. Mille Gracie Nicola!

Perfect destination to stay
The owner was extremely helpful and ensured our stay would be seamless and comfortable. The location was exactly as described, even better than the pics. We had everything that a VRBO vacation home should be. Close to VENICE and VERONA and easy access to everything we needed.

A very special apartment!
We are 3 senior women who booked 4 Home Away rentals for our Italian vacation. This home was our favorite. It is located in a very private, scenic area on a canal, with a small bakery directly across the lane & a restaurant a short walk away. Nicola, the owner, was so easy to work with! He answered our questions immediately & supplied the house with everything we might need. My bedroom was rather warm, & he brought me a fan the day I requested one. We booked here, so that we could take a train into Venice. It took us about 20 min to find the train station & then 40 minute ride into Venice. This is the perfect way to see Venice.... no stress. We highly recommend this home!!

Great Home
This home was everything and more. The owner, Nicole, was very helpful with information about the surrounding area. They home was very well stocked, more than any home we have rented so far. It was away from the city but within walking distance to a restaurant/bar. If the weather had been warmer, we would have made use of the rooftop patio. Biking from here was very good. It is also centrally located for travel to Venice, Chioggia, Padua and the Po River. All bedrooms are on the second floor. A full bath is on the first floor and another on the second floor. Beds were comfortable with plenty of space to spread out. We will definitely consider this place again when we are in the area!

Beautiful house in a lovely village
We were greeted by Nicola who spoke very good English, he introduced us to his property in a very friendly and informative way. A beautiful clean and well presented house, decorated tastefully throughout by Nicola’s friendly wife who we had the pleasure of meeting on a couple of occasions. Being beside a canal in the quaint village of Pontemanco we were able to watch and feed the fish and listen to the water wheel by Cafe Zhivago. Nicola gave us a bountiful amount of clear information regarding a good supermarket, restaurants, transport etc. and was available if any assistance was required. We hired the full house for twelve days from where we visited Bologna, Sirmione, Verona, Padua, Ferrara and Chioggia by car which were all within a 90 minuets drive. We even took a train to Milan from Padua, using the park and tram to Padua recommended by Nicola. Nicola kindly provided tinned tomatoes, herbs, spaghetti, breakfast cereal, coffee, tea, milk, fruit juice, bottled water and a bottle of wine on arrival. He also provided washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and washing machine liquid. We used the village bakery for fresh breads and we were even able to purchase milk, butter and fruit juice when we ran short. We would love to return to this property.

A gem!!
This house was wonderful, as was our host. The location was beautiful! The bedroom and living room windows open directly onto the canal. A delightful café – café Zhivago- is a block walk away. It is easy to get into Padua from the house, which is a wonderful town to visit for the historical sites and takes about 27 minutes to get there. The rooms are tastefully decorated-I had to take pics of every room to show our children! Thoughtfully provided was everything we could possibly need- soap, shampoo, bath gels, bath towels, plenty of toilet tissue, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, a few spices, coffee pods and even a welcome bottle of wine and, pasta and spaghetti sauce if we were just too tired to go out to dinner upon our first day of arrival! Nicola even offered me a backpack to use on the bicycles he had ready for me so that I would not have to juggle my pocketbook while biking around the town The house was a comfortable temperature and we were able to use air-conditioning at night and slept very well. I loved the mattress and pillows! Everything was super clean and I heartily recommend this rental! Oh, and there are TWO kitchens l, each supplied with pots and pans, stove, oven and dishwasher with plenty of dishwasher pods and dishwashing detergent. Also included was a laundry room with a washer and dryer and he even let us use some of his detergent :-) It was 40 minutes to drive to the Venice airport and the drive was about as direct as you can get :-) they wanted it you will love this house exclude

Luxuriating in Due Carrare
We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay in this commodious property--it was modern inside, spacious, quiet and cool (due both to air-conditioning and the thick walls and high ceilings.) while the outside temperature during our visit was in the 90's. The place is beautifully located, next to the canal, and the third floor terrace is amazing space--large and lovely. THe GPS in our rental car thought the address was down the street, and we did initially try to enter the wrong property, but we figured out the problem in about 10 minutes.

Beautiful Home in a quiet area close to Venice and other historical towns
Nicola met us promptly at the property. The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable and quite large. We are a family of 4 with 2 teens. The first floor has living, bathroom, kitchen, laundry. The second has 3 bedrooms and large bathroom with spa tub. The third is an additional kitchen with eating area and large terrace. There is a lovely canal along the side and lots of windows for fresh air as well as air conditioning. I have rented many VRBO and this was the first to have so many thoughtful amenities. Nicola and his wife left us coffee, milk, orange juice, wine and delicious homemade cookies! This was much appreciated after a long drive from Milan. He recommended a wonderful restaurant located across the street called Café Zivago. We also took his advice on a short 10 minute drive the next day to the train station where we went into Venice. This was very easy, affordable and convenient. That night we went to another local restaurant which was recommended in a book for guests in the home. La Capanga offered terrace dining under a fragrant jasmine vine along with traditional dishes of the area which were all outstanding. The next day we took Nicola's advice again and explored the towns of Este and Monselice. Our goal was to be immersed in an area without a lot of tourists and spend a full day in Venice. I hope to come back to this property and spend more time in the surrounding area.

Einzigartig
Als Eltern mit drei erwachsenen (Schwieger-)Kindern haben wir in diesem Haus wunderbare acht Tage verbracht. Es war für uns absolut perfekt. Uns gefiel vor allem die stilvolle Einrichtung, die guten Betten und die große Terrasse. Es war alles wie beschrieben und wir fühlten uns herzlich empfangen, da für unsere Ankunft schon einiges zur Nutzung bereitgestellt war. Es gab in der Umgebung viele Ausflugs- und Einkehrmöglichkeiten. Wir wären sehr gerne länger geblieben.

Wochenende mit Freunden
Wir waren zu viert unterwegs, um einen runden Geburtstag zu feiern. Das Ferienhaus sieht genauso aus, wie auf den Bildern—wenn nicht noch schöner. Die Ausstattung ist toll, die Betten bequem. Das absolute Highlight (und Hauptgrund für die Buchung) war für uns die Dachterrasse: Wir haben die Frühstücke und das abendliche Weintrinken dort sehr genossen! Im Nachbarort (Battaglia Terme) gibt es eine super Pizzeria (Baccanale) und wenn man abends vom Tagesausflug mit dem Auto zurückkehrt, patrouilliert (zumindest an unserem Wochenende) ein netter Herr mit Taschenlampe und organisiert eine Parkmöglichkeit. Fazit: Alles perfekt gelaufen, gerne wieder!

Schöner Urlaub
Ruhig und gut für Ausflüge in die Umgebung gelegen. Die Nachbarn sehr freundlich. Bäckerei gleich gegenüber. Supermarkt in Gehweite. Vier Fahrräder (guter Zustand) sind vorhanden. Parkplatz direkt beim Haus. Heizung, Warmwasser, Klimaanlagen, falls letztere erforderlich, haben gut funktioniert. Ebenso die Kommunikation mit Nicola. Die kommunale Müllabfuhr war für uns etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Aber dafür kann ja das Haus nichts. Wir werden, sofern möglich, gerne wiederkommen.

Une maison reposante très bien decorée au bord d'un canal
Nicola nous a très bien accueilli dans sa superbe maison qu'il a parfaitement décorée. Il avait laissé à notre attention des boissons et nourriture en respectant la tradition d'accueil italienne. À 5 minutes de l'autoroute nous avons pu facilement visiter toutes les magnifiques villes de la région.

Fabulosa !
Todo perfecto, la casa, las vistas, los propietarios súper atentos, la proximidad a Pádua y a preciosos pueblecitos medievales. La aldea en sí muy pintoresca y tranquila. Hay un restaurante/ encantador justo al lado y una panadería enfrente . Qué más se puede pedir ? Me encantaría regresar con mis hijos y nietos!
