We (a family of four with children age 8 and 10) had a great stay. It was convenient to access by transit from the airport. It was very centrally located to lots of sights and amenities. The staff was very pleasant. We would stay again.

The staff was great and very accomodating. The building is very old and while it had it charms it could use some work. The mattresses were very worn out in our room but were okay in our kids room. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. And the little restaurant downstairs was nice with a good breakfast.

A clean and well-maintained properly. Was a welcome place to stay in Dublin. Didn’t get to try the breakfast as I always slept in, but the price seemed reasonable.

The service at this hotel was especially exceptional - the staff connected with us ahead of time to see when we would be arriving, and were able to check us in quite early. Everyone was helpful, friendly and kind. Great location - we were able to walk to several sites nearby, like restaurants, St. Stephen’s Green, and The Little Museum of Dublin.

OK place to stay in Dublin
Pretty average place to stay in Dublin. The history of the place made it a bit more fun. The check-in/out process was friendly and seamless. Not very impressed with the nearby restaurant selection, but several pubs were nearby.

Good location but value not great.
Great location but the accomodation was compromised by being in the basement location. Maybe quieter but certainly not a city view as promised. All accomodation in Dublin is expensive but I simply don't believe we got value for money.

Mediocre hotel
Good location. The staff were all very nice. The condition of the rooms, halls were a bit threadbare. Furniture old, beds only ok. No elevator or bell staff. No air conditioning or vents beyond opening a window to a noisy street.

The best thing about this hotel was its location. We walked everywhere for 5 cays! It was quiet and clean and very friendly staff. Lenka was always so cheerful and helpful. the only thing I would say is that the room was very small,, and not much place to put suitcases and things.

Good area great for our one night
Short walk to Grafton area which is what I wanted. Seemed to be a college district. Staff was really nice. Room was clean and shampoo and shower gel was provided. No usb chargers so be prepared with a converter ( USA) but luckily the desk had some converters for us to borrow for the night. No elevators so be prepared to haul your luggage up the stairs. We just needed somewhere to lay our head for one night so it did the job.

Great stay at Fitzwilliam
I arrived solo to Dublin and it was my first time. Sarah especially was so friendly advising and giving me directions to places of interest. She’s a gem. Hygiene in particular was super. I got my room cleaned everyday, the bed was so comfortable and cozy and I was kept warm through the night. I recommend this place.

Great location, lovely staff. Arrived early to drop my bag off first, was told room would be on 3rd floor; when I came back later to properly check in the room had been switched to ground floor opposite reception (with fire door in between). Lovely, clean, high-ceilinged room, but was worried that it would be noisy from both street and reception. That turned out to not be the case at all, had a marvelous sleep.

Great for weekend stay..
Super friendly service from check in to check out. Good supply of extras i.e. water, coffee, toiletries etc. Very clean and comfortable. Location great for weekend i.e. quiet area. Near public transport for train station etc. Price competitive.

Very old hotel. Expensive for what we got. There was no thermostat for the heating, either very hot or not on. Small cramped room. No one available after 10pm. Door was hard to open.

Four Stars
A lovely place with lots of thought and effort given to guest comfort. We had a huge room, which was a pleasure after the tiny places we'd stayed elsewhere. Wonderful. helpful, friendly staff. Great breakfast. Close enough to the center of things to walk everywhere but a couple of blocks past the insanity so it's quiet at night. A great deal for the money, especially in comparison to say Amsterdam or Paris (where we'd been earlier.) Highly recommend.

We booked another hotel at 3:00 am it was so bad
We stayed in room 11, on the ground floor. The mattress was saggy and whenever a toilet flushed or the shower was on, we heard water rushing through pipes all around us. The room was also very hot and we couldn't open he window because there was traffic outside on the street. We booked another hotel for the next night and we were able to get our money back for the night we didn't stay. The receptionist was very kind and helped us to get a load of laundry done. However, this place felt more like a hostel than a cute little guesthouse.
