I was on the 27th floor and I could hear a loud humming noise which at first thought that it was the Air-conditioning. But it turned out that the windows aren't sound proofed.
They didn't have towels for me to have a shower on the first night.
The 3rd night, power was cut off because the card that I had inserted on the doorway expired. I noticed this at 4am when I went to use the bathroom. I called reception and they wouldn't answer the phone at 4am, I called again and they eventually picked-up offering to send a technician which I rejected as I need to go to sleep.
The lifts were stopping at random floors but no one was on the floor to get in. It was extremely annoying pressing the button for the doors to close so the lift to keep going. Even more annoying waiting for the lift to arrive.
On the positive side, the hotel is right at the entrance of a Metro station which was convenient for me to go places. And there were a few restaurants and supermarkets near by.
Hotel at excellent location and great staff but room intererior needs attention and repairing.
My room went throught recent renovation but they seem to letting guest in without completing the room renovation.
My room has an excellent view but it was too noisy as windows were broken and you can hear wind and cars like you are on the street. Curtains were not installed properly and inner curtain were totally missing in the room. Also curtains were not covering the whole windows so light was coming in the day time. Also entrance was dusty and given sofa had paint spots and etc.
With such lovely view, location and good staff if they fixed these small things I would love to stay here again and again.

Bad experience
Light went out during the stay, the shower water was not draining, no cot provided when it was stated and requested at the check in.
Worn out furniture , specially the sofas.
Very nice staff.
Excellent location.
Large size 1BR apartment.
Hygiene standards are low and the place is not clean.
Old building.
Old and rusty bathrooms.
TV is very small and the channels are not working, so it’s like another piece of their old peeled furniture.
The wallpaper is peeled off and the curtains are dirty.
This place makes Motel 6 looks like a luxury place.

Cockroaches
The room were old and a bit smelly, killed a cockroach on the second day of my stay but they kept appearing in the bathroom and kitchen, i got to change to another room, but it still have some cockroaches and the same problems of the first room. Last time i stay in this hotel.

Other than condition of hotel,rest everything is good.
One of the worst hotels in cleanliness, the room was dirty had cockroaches !!!!! and the furniture is old although they clean every day but still dirty
the location of the hotel is great, but it is not worth the price at all
I wanted to cancel my booking but i didnt have enough time for that my stay was for three nights

Seems like the hotel has been doing renovations, so this pic is a renovated room, but the room I got wasn't this! The washrooms in the rooms aren't renovated at all the shower is the worst this ever! After complaining I did get moved to this room displayed but the washrooms weren't renovated rather dissappointing!
Breakfast was not impressive. Overall things were fine.

WORST WORST Stay IN DUBAI
this was the worst experience in Dubai.
Although Hotel location was good but hotel's condition itself was the worst. its a very old n dirty hotel. i have ever seen in my life.i have Paid 900AED for one night and all went in Waste.
smelly rooms. Dirty washrooms. Broken floor tiles. No towels. Broken and stained roof. Broken toilet Showers.
Tv Dont work properly. AC make so much noise. its very hard to sleep. very uncomfortable bed and pillows.
i will not recommend anyone to stay there even it is free.
at Night you can see call girls sitting in lobby. it is more like a pick up spot.
i have attached some of the picture i got and keep in mind it was their premium room not the standard room
All over the WORST Stay in Dubai.
Conveniently located, walkable distance from nearby metro station.. calm & peaceful rooms..

Emirates grand hotel has changed since we last stayed there in 2019. We reserved this property thinking it was the old one, but it was across the street from the old one. These probably used to be apartments, and they were in bad shape. Tables were sticky, not cleaned properly. Mold around the bathroom. Shower too small and not enough space for one person to stand. We were there for only two days, so spent the time somehow. But I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone. Grand stay hotel across the street, which used to be emirates grand hotel, was a much more pleasant experience than this.

It was really bad stay, the hotel furniture was so old, the sheets dont look good condition and staff are not up to the standards
I didn’t like much. The day to day cleaning of the room was fine. The bathroom cracks and corners were filthy. Whole place smelt like curry. I love a curry but not every day smell. Tv picture was dreadful. Some of receptionist were terrible. Phone didn’t work. Room service took 3 hours to drop me a bottle of water and a pepsi
