“No closet?”

The room was nice, but there was no closet to hang my dresses for the wedding I was attending.

“My go to hotel when I visit my relatives”

I always stay at Holiday Inn Express when I visit my relatives during the holidays and I am always pleased. My only con about the hotel would be the breakfast is NASTY, the eggs are not real and there should be more fresh fruit.

Dining

When visiting Douglas you must eat at J. Wig's Barbecue! The stuffed baked potatoes are layered with stredded barbcue pork or beef with cheese with the works (sour cream ect). My daughter had a burger and fries which she said were the best she ever had. It's down home southern cooking at a low price.

“Staff made the difference”

The evening front desk girls (ladies) were extremely friendly and helpful, we did not check in until after 10 but they were quick to help us and get us what we needed including written direction to where we needed to go, only bad thing was pool was too cold and it wasnt a hot tub, just a jet tub. plus they ran out of food at breakfast by 8:45

This Holiday Inn was by shopping and resturants so it was ideal location for us.

they need to fix website to show that yes it has an indoor pool however it is not heated in the slightest and the spa is just a jetted tub very cold water not a hot-tub as most would expect when they see 'spa'.
