Dear Guest, We are always looking to better ourselves, and know we have a lot to improve on still. We are a family run place and not your typical hotel. Hi Mike , Thanks for your kind words. "the staff really go out of the way to help and feed you" - - the "feed you" made me smile! My mum is a great cook, naturally I am somewhat biased though, so it's nice to know other people enjoy it too. She really never get's tired of hearing the compliments, and it brings her so much joy hearing people say they like her food. September is a very quiet month for us unfortunately, but we're going to take this time to focus on other ways to put ourselves back out there. Coming back from our family holiday, we were a bit anxious and nervous about starting with the new season in August. We didn't have that many reservations, so naturally that scares one. But we were very lucky with all the guests we've had so far. You have all been so kind and appreciative of our place and the things we do, that it makes it all worth it. And reading reviews like this makes it even better, almost like a validation that we can make it, and get back on track again.
