“Lovely Stay!”

We stayed at this hotel for 7 days. We wanted to tour Switzerland (mainly Lake Geneva region) and at first were worried about travelling to Geneva city however the hotel shuttle solved this problem. The hotel was compfortable, the spa facilities were great and staff very friendly. Language was a bit of a problem but we survived! Definetly recommend the hotel to others!

A wonderful hotel near Geneva with beautiful rooms,very friendly and efficicient staff. Free use of Spa with indoor pool overlooking Mont Blanc and the Alps. Superb !!!!

“Great Hotel. Great Location”

A lovely hotel in a fabulous location. We had booked a double room but, in fact, ended up with an apartment - seperate toilet and lovely bathroom, seperate double bedroom and a large living area with settee and kitchenette. It was immaculate and beautifully styled. Over the road is the lake which is a lovely place to stroll around. It is very close to Geneva and has stunning views of the Alps. The restaurant was nice with a terrasse - food was ok - not amazing, but perfectly edible! We are considering returning there for a few days to further expolre the area around Lac Geneve.

“Excellent Hotel”

We spent 2 nights here winding down after a hectic trip throught Alsace and Switzerland. We found the hotel, room and staff all to be excellent. The room was spacious, very clean and modern with excellent decor. The spa was an added bonus. Had dinner one evening and this was extremely good. We would strongly reccommend.

“Very Clean Hotel in a Country location near to Geneva”

Just got back from Geneva, and I must say, we had a great time at the Villa du Lac. The staff were very helpful and the hotel was very clean. We had a one bed apartment which was newly built which had a small kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, microwave and hob, dining table and Lounge with sliding doors to a patio with table and chairs. One bedroom with twin beds and the setee pulled out to a double bed. The Bathroom was excellent and there was video entry and laundry facilities. The Spa was stunning, the only problem was that we had booked this hotel purely because there was an indoor pool, as our two children love swimming. Unfortunately, children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the spa, which was a great disapointment to my youngest boy. My only issue, was that the hotel description should have mentioned this, as there were quite a number of families staying there, who must also had very disapointed children. The hotel is located on a small lake near Lake Geneva in a small town called Divonee des Bains.(France) The town has a Casino and is quite upmarket, with Chinese, Thai, Italian, Indian, French, and Swiss restaurants. There is a market on Sunday Morning which is excellent. The views of the mountains from the hotel are stunning, and a car is advisable. We were able to visit several ski resorts,over our five day stay, which was great, as every day was different. Geneva Centre is ten minutes drive, and Mont Blanc is about 1.5 hours. Great Place!!

“Business or Pleasure”

Although the hotel has a spa (swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, etc) for vacationers in the quaint, laid-back town of Divonne-les-Bains (with a casino, golf course, hiking trails, thermal baths and man-made lake), the rooms and foyer are more reminiscent of a business hotel. Since I stayed on business, this was fine, although it would have been better if the rooms had wireless internet access instead of LAN connections. Nonetheless, internet access was free, the room was clean and well appointed and had a balcony, and I enjoyed my stay (although I should have brought my swimming suit).

“Very nice good value for Money”

In a nice area, very quite lot's of parking and free internet. On a lake nice for jogging or just walking in the evening. Near to Geneva center 15 minuet's on the highway

“Great for the price and location”

We had 3 children (ages 7, 5 and 4) and this hotel worked out perfectly. We stayed in their apartments which was well appointed with a full kitchen, dining area and living area. The rooms were located upstairs with a full bath. It was just what we needed to avoid the high prices of the hotels in Switzerland. Very easy jumping off point for us. Also, our children loved to be able to come home after sight seeing and have a huge pool, sauna and hot tub to play in! I would definitely stay here again.

“A fine place to stay”

Good quality for a reasonable price, great surroundings, lots of places to see closeby, nice farmer's market on sundays, great wellness area.

“More staff needed at reception to process guests”

New Hotel with spa/indoor swimming pool. Outside terrace for (good) breakfast Public transport limited. Extensive car parking.
