Great service, breakfast and the restautant next door is amazing. We went there for lunch and dinner on the same day - highly recommended. The room do need a fan for the warmer sunny days. A lose standing one will do the trick.

Fairly quiet location with free parking but a fair walk to the town centre. Room clean and modern. Excellent breakfast and helpful staff.

Ideal location for visit to Dinan
Nice hotel about 15 minutes walk from town centre. Staff friendly & helpful. Nice quiet area. Restaurant next door really nice & good value too.

Well located, comfortable room
This is the second visit to Hotel Spa Le Connectable, rooms are comfortable, clean light and well proportioned. A fifteen minute walk gets you into the centre of Dinan, Its well placed to reach from the main roads in the area, Parking is sufficient,, The only gripe was the size of the TV in the room, a rally small screen for the size of the room. Would recommend this hotel for short visits

Much nicer places for the price
The hotel's location is bad for tourists. It is far away from the lovely old town and all the restaurants. There are amazing places to stay much closer to all the action and for a more reasonable price. The staff were so unfriendly and unhelpful. We arrived at 1pm and were told we can only check in at 3pm even though the hotel was empty, when we went back the reception staff and cleaning staff were sitting around drinking beer. I loved Dinan but the hotel put a damper on it.

And yes at 13:00, we have the right to do our lunch break while eating and drinking what we want anyway ... Pleasant if sleep is not a priority
An efficient welcome on arrival and plenty of space in our Superior Room, a very large comfortable bed and with the particularly pleasing feature of seperate bathroom & tiolet not often seen in hotel rooms. Unfortunately, the bin in our bathroom hadn't been emptied but otherwise all appeared clean, the TV was a bit small and the remote had no back cover but had been tastefully taped over to stop the batteries falling out! Niggles but not sufficient to make a 'thing of'. BUT the biggest fault, and I use that word advisedly, were the pillows. If the primary function of a bedroom is to provide a means for sleep and you have gone to the point of providing a very large and comfortable bed why, oh why give such appalling pillows? Cheap chunks of dense foam and virtually impossible to sleep on, such a silly thing to get wrong.

Don't judge the book by its cover
It looks like a barracks from the outside and at first site, from inside too as Reception isn't very smart to say the least. However our room, 211, was brilliant, huge, spacious and quiet with a bath - go for this one if you can. A very nice continental breakfast @ €10 per person is more than adequate and there is free parking in bays outside the hotel on the road. There seems to be food available in the evening but we preferred to eat in town. The hotel is very well located for the town centre a 5 min drive, so well within walking distance and it is very quiet in this area. What more could one want? There is also a spa, but again we didn't look into it.. We would stay again.

Old converted hotel,no atmosphere,very quiet,no reception staff/services after 10pm.Old beds; wooden leg collapsed/came off.Beds are too tiny; do not comfortable.Walls are very thin like paper;move when touched.spa is just a spa bath.Location is not great as its at the far end corner of the main area.

Comfortable neighborhood experience
Lovely neighborhood and a fabulous restaurant next door. The breakfast was adequate but the least elaborate of all the places we stayed on this 23 day tour of France. The front desk was also the least friendly: don't know if it was a language barrier or what but every other host was more welcoming

Great hotel, so-so location
The hotel staff were great, as was the hotel. Safe and secure parking was free, but a bit of a hassle as you had to use your room key and a beeper to work the doors. The hotel was also a taxi ride from the historic old section of town.

Good hotel for one night
We slept in a big room with our children. The staff member nicely waited for us to arrive at midnight when the reception was closing at 11pm (we phoned before to tell that we would be arriving late). So that was very nice from him to wait for us. Very good night, the room was a bit dirty, but overall good. The breakfast was OK, not great but acceptable.

Not a pleasant experience at all. Room nice but without any aircon. Slept with windows open and awoke in sweat and flies with hooligans yelling on the street. If you want but one English TV station; then avoid. BBC not on offer. Staff could care less if your are comfortable. No accountability as they are more interested in eating their own breakfast from the buffet rather than monitoring and keeping the food stocked (on an expensive yet meager buffet). When they were advised the eggs needed replenishment, staff grudgingly brought out enough for one person. If you want to feel as if your business and money is appreciated, go somewhere else. Also, way to far from old city if you're buying anything of substance.

Lovely hotel in a lovely town.
Very very comfortable and clean room in a lovely town. No restaurant open when we stayed in June but ready to heat meals available. (Steamer provided in room) However we didn't try these meals. I would definitely stay there again especially at what I consider the good value for money rate of €56!

Very good for a French 3-star hotel and very clean
We had 2 nights in a suite. The room was very clean, with a large comfortable bed, small sofa and armchairs. Smart grey, white and red decor and good quality. Everything in good condition and worked well, but BBC World News was the only English channel on the TV. The bathroom was large and modern, and there were grab-rails by the toilet and shower for people with mobility problems. Little bottles of shampoo and shower gel were provided. There were no screens so the water splashed outside of the shower area. Good lighting. A kettle with a few sachets of tea and coffee were provided, plus a steaming device for heating up (expensive) pre-prepared packs of food available to buy from Reception. We bought fresh milk from the Lidl supermarket nearby. The hotel is also close to LeClerc and Carrefour supermarkets but quite a walk from the centre of Dinan. Plenty of free parking in the road by the hotel. The couple running the hotel spoke English but had no time to chat to us either at check-in or check-out. They worked in Reception, the bar and the breakfast room. Breakfast was 10Euros. The cheese, ham, crossants and salted caramel were very good. There were also 3 cereal choices, yoghurts and tiny bowls of tinned fruit but these often ran out and the lady was too busy to replenish them promptly. Scrambled eggs and bacon were in the buffet too but these unfortunately were not kept hot enough. You got your coffee from a vending machine. We will stay here again.

great hotel in a great town
we loved our stay here in a great little town……even if the weather was not the best. the staff are very helpful…we needed to get a doctor and the front desk people went out of their way to help us arrange an appointment. This is an old military building which has been converted into a hotel so there is plenty of space and the rooms are well appointed

Nice and reasonably priced hotel
Welcoming and helpful at reception. Rooms were clean with large and comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent with options of cereal, pancakes, bread, cheese etc. A 15 minute walk takes you to the centre of the lovely historic town of Dinan and a trip round the walls is recommended. There is an area where artists work is well worth a look and there are some excellent restaurants. We used the area as a stopping off place on our way down to Rochelle and then came backed and stopped off again to visit Mont-San-Michel. We'll probably go back to Dinan again and stay at the same hotel.

Our visit to Dinan was for the Fete de Ramparts where we dressed in medieval outfits, love the atmosphere and the laid back feeling. Dinan beautiful great restaurants very relaxing down by the river.

We loved the place. It is so unique to find such a hotel. We have been traveling for a more than 10 days and most hotel just had our room and a small lobby area. This one was so great, having a spa was such a nice idea. We booked the spa twice. Love to come back again.

Clean! Modern! Friendly staff- they tried very hard to speak English. 5-7 min from the Dinan train station. A bit of a walk from downtown Dinan but a good walk after eating and drinking all day. I would stay here again.

This hotel was surprisngly modern inside (too much so for my liking). But otherwise pretty faultless. Except for the fact it was a good 15min walk out of the town centre and the public 'park' out front would really benefit from better upkeep! Cant comment on breakfast because didnt have it but the receptionist was friendly and helpful and the room was spotless and everything sufficient.

Nice hotel close to beautiful sights
The hotel was perfect for our weekend away. The room was modern, clean and bright. We couldn't hear any other guests or other noise. There is a very good secure underground carpark. One of the best hotels we've stayed in. The surrounding area is being developed so hopefully it will look nicer when it's finished.would definitely recommend this hotel!!!

Fantastic location and room sizes
Excellent hotel, we used it as a stop off for the ferry the next morning in St. Malo but found it to be such a great room it really added another proper night of holiday. It is located only a short walk from the town center where there are great shops and bars. Highly recommended.

A well executed modernisation
The hotel used to be a military barracks. It has be well fitted out for its new role. As it was nearly fully booked we were allocated an apartment room on the top floor which was perfect. There is a restaurant behind the hotel which provided a good evening meal. The staff were friendly and very helpfully provided an ice pack when I strained a leg muscle. This was useful as the spa in the hotel had few other facilities to help with my injury. The position of the hotel was ideal for us as it was halfway between the local airfield which we arrived at and the centre of the beautiful town of Dinan. We would definitely use it again on another visit.
