Nice place to stay in RAK.
Nice stay overall. Comfortable room. Breakfast could have been hotter and more plentiful but I came kind of late.

We had an issue in the first day. We booked for 2 days and for personal reason we asked to cancel the second day but we didn't get any assistance either from the hotel staff side or even from the hotels.com staff side I contacted one staff from hotels.com he just collected my card number and he told me he will cancel the first booking of 2 days and make new booking for one day and the charges will be 240 dhs per day instead of 198 dhs which we booked earlier I hope this staff will not use my card for his personal use since the cancellation was not confirmed and we had to stay the 2 night's.

No hot water!
The hotel is ok except there was no hot water any where in the hotel for a shower in the morning. So we had to boil the kettle numerous times in order to wash :(

Not happy
We just enjoying location is good about your service is not Good. Because I love staying not hotels with family is 1st time I face problems in this hotel. Like WiFi with pay is show cheap mind not business mind. Your people's service very slow. No body come and clean the room till 12 30. PM . Not change the drink water. Kindly change his think I wish when I come again or my friends ask about this hotel so I give positive answer.

Pool area is very bad
The hotel is situated at very good location but it is so crowdy on weekends, and the pool water was very hot, no ventalation in indoor pool.

Satisfactory
Reception service was very slow. However, room service was very good. Also, I thought breakfast was included in the package that I paid for, but was asked to pay for the breakfast. Surprisingly, there was no free wifi anywhere in the hotel. Over all satisfied.

I don't think that am gonna stay on it again
Its old hotel no free wireless even at the lobby , the tv is very small and old, the bed cover looking not clean or washed many time even you feel it's not changed.

Grea hotel in a magestic setting.
After a day of SCUBA diving on the UAE's East Coast, I was looking for a clean, good-value option for getting a good night's sleep, half-way to my next destination. The Golden Tulip was about a 45 minute drive from Dadna on the coast. The approach to the hotel, as well as the view is stunning. I was assigned a room on the 5th floor. Unfortunately, I arrived just as the sun was setting, but the next early morning awarded me with a fantastic view of the surroundin mountains and oasis. I did not check out the Spa, but the breakfast (not included) is pricy so I decided to give it a miss. Otherwise, the room was great and the hotel is wonderful. I would stay here again.

Staff is a little slow and lazy. It's not such a big place to manage and they should be doing a better job at it. Though they are friendly, the staff is slow. Overall a good experience. Recommended for a quick low budget getaway. For those who want to take a break and do nothing.

its the third stay with Golden tulips and it was aa memorable one. however, in this trip I noticed the toilet bowl and the washbasin/sink was cracked and it looked awful. the bathtub shower didn't work as well. I wonder why there wasnt vine or chocolates in the minibar as usual.... I wont say it was bad but I think that room needs attention.

I loved the location, it's fabulous. The hotel has deteriorated, a lot and no longer attractive, the facilities are worn out and the swimming pools water seems untidy.

Weekend Getaway
The hotel has been our regular getaway since 2010, it has a very nice location, tranquility and far from usual busy districts. In our last 3 visits, the facilities and hotel amenities were now dilapidated and mostly non-functional. Rooms were also old and untidy, management should consider renovation with urgency.

Bad Experience
It was actually a verey bad experience! 1. No baby cots available as a hotel service! After long discussions they agreed to provide us with two thin mattress on the floor for Four children! Four rooms!! Actually we were very upset. Those were provided with NO pillows, we asked for pillows at least, they kept sending us half pillows( small) after all fights , we got two ( for four rooms) . The extra luggage cupboard in all rooms was EMPTY!! 2.there are two shops in the hotel, I went to buy something urgently, but the lady was not available, then I knew she is the same one who runs both shops on different floors! And the response I got from the reception( it's different company , sorry I don't know where is she!) sorry as a customer, I don't care if you were a same company or not, I need to buy something! 3. Hot water was not perfect in the room, we had to wait.. To get it hot. And it was weak as well. 4.The AC was not working , and we had to change the room 5. We expected to get to the spring for free, as we are staying in that hotel, but it wasn't. 6.

Nice to get away from the bright lights
Headed up to Khatt for a cross country running event which started right outside the hotel, staff were all really friendly and the hotel lobby area is nice and spacious. Room was really big, but seemed a bit dated and furniture was sparse. Bed not really comfy, but I'm sure that's not the same in every room. Overall it was good, the town around is a little strange and the looks from some of the locals and Indians living around there were unnerving at times. Worth a night here.
