One night only

Posted 14-Oct-2014
Pros: Near our friends.
Cons: Lighting in the room. Canopy over bed with side hangings blocking the bedside lamps making reading in bed difficult.
We were visiting friends in the area. Only stayed one night. Good breakfast.

Great stay

Perfect location for overnight stop over when travelling to the west country. Stayed numerous times and on each occasion received great customer service. Only grumble on this visit was the temporary closure of the gym which wasnt advertised at the time of booking.

Flatters to deceive

Good for the price (which was low) - service OK - rooms dated - the golf club attached is excellent in every way.

Great location, stunning views

Great service, arrived early as had had a meeting cancelled and they were able to settle me early in my room and went out of their way to ensure I enjoyed my stay. Beautiful terrace - one thing to note would be the bar stops serving food at 9pm, we were so busy enjoying the view we missed service!

Girlie night

Perfect little getaway for the night. Upgraded to a deluxe twin room with balcony looking over the golf course. Excellent customer service and care. A lovely evening meal enjoyed at the restaurant. Quiet, comfortable: an enjoyable experience.

Pleasant Surroundings

Posted 30-Jun-2014
Pros: The overall setting and the high quality of the interiors and food.
Cons: Possibly another member of staff on check out day.
Location: A great location with lots of quaint villages and places to go around.
I came to Woodbury Park as part of a Wedding party staying for 1 night. The Hotel surroundings were lovely and the breakfast was excellent. We were unable to use the facilities due to our own time commitments. The Wedding Venue and food served was also excellent. Checkout was very busy owing to the fact there was only 1 member of staff. The Receptionist however was extremely competent and quick to apologise for the delay. An overall delightful stay.
