Lovely, lovely!
Fabulous couple, well run, excellent service and breakfast was outstanding, great choices, beautifully cooked, well presented even homemade yoghurt! What’s not to like. Will be staying again!

Well situated above the town, easy parking onsite. Lovely large room and fabulous breakfast. Hosts extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Torquay.

A second visit in a month. A great Little gem of a place. Very clean, fabulous hosts Wendy & Steve, great choices for breakfast. Just a few minutes from the beach front, and the weather was amazing.

Just got back from a great two night stay at The Berburry. Hosts Wendy and Steve are lovely very welcoming and nothibgvtoo much trouble. The rooms and general areas are impeccably clean, the breakfasts were beautiful, plenty of locally sourced food, very filling, and the homemade yogurts are beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful weekend stay, we will certainly return. Loved the welcoming hospitality. Leigh & Martin

Best B&B in Torquay
This is a lovely hotel and steve and wendy are brilliant hosts theres nothing thats too much trouble. The food and accomodation is excellent ***** it gets 5 stars from me

We had a pleasant stay with super nice hosts Wendy and Steve. The breakfast was fantastic. There are several choices on the menu and it is cooked to order. Conveniently located to Torquay beaches .

Good stay
Katrina and her daughter were just amazing to welcome us. Katrina was helping all guests for their accommodation and heling in the kitchen with a great and real smile which anyone could see behind the mask where her daughter was helping with the breakfast in a most pleasant manner and we would like to stay their again. One of the downfall is the softest spring mattress.

Lovely Stay
Had a wonderful stay at The Berburry. Katrina was extremely welcoming on arrival and helpful throughout my entire stay. Huge thanks to her and Lily for making my stay so lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant little place in a good location
We had a lovely stay at The Berburry. There's enough space on site to park, and it was about 15 minutes walk to the riviera. Our host was very friendly and the breakfast was great. Room was clean and cosy. Bathroom was larger than you'd expect.

How would I know what it was like when we tried cancelling it a number of times ,because we are in a lockdown situation,we previously asked before the date of the holiday to change the date for next year or our money back ,as Covid not our fault so we are extreamley annoyed never book again.REFUND WOULD BE NICE.

Cleanliness very good, staff friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts were excellent. It was a 5 minute walk to the front, very nice through the Abbey.

Lovely stay!
Lovely hotel, great choice of lovely breakfasts with social distancing observed. Katrina and her daughter worked really hard to make our stay a happy one and it was about a15mins walk to the beach. Good parking area too!

Hotel is highlighted as being 5* but I don’t agree with this at all. Staff were welcoming and nice but the hotel in general is worn down, tired and doesn’t look a 5* hotel at all.

we liked the décor and cleanliness of the hotel, had a bit of trouble finding it, when found we were very pleased and it was near to the riveria centre as advertised , so we were able to walk there and back
