“helpfulness”

Very helpful staff, clean rooms with excellent firm beds and lovely fresh cotton sheets., good food evening menu. Breakfast standard level. Choice of different eggs would have been good. Would return. very reasonable cost. Great location if visiting the uni as bus route at local sainsburys,

“we took the dog”

we stayed overnight with our dog and the bedrooms being separate from the main hotel was very convenient , we didnt have to take the dog through the reception etc. the room was fine and the souroundings were great for walking the dog. it was a little noisy but did not detract from our enjoyment.

“Hotel needs a good clean !”

The hotel was as expected in a budget group, However I do feel that the rooms should be clean and the stairways should be kept clean. The carpets were dirty with stains, the fan in the bathroon did not work and the pillows uncomfortable. The stairwells were really dirty and felt a little unsafe on underfoot .
