Great food and great accommodation

Posted 15-Jul-2014
Pros: The atmosphere is amazing, you get the feeling your back in time at an old inn.
Cons: Had to wait about 5 minutes before anyone came out to seat us, same with breakfast next day.
Location: Perfect location, lovely countryside setting. Beaches near by.
The meal was excellent, the staff very friendly and the hotel room was very nice.

Great hotel one worth a visit

Posted 07-Oct-2013
Pros: The history of the hotel, the service and the food
Location: Lots of place to walk and near the sea. Brixham is a lovely place to visit and so is Dartmouth.
The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. We would definitely recommend staying here and we will stay here again

An interesting old manor house

Posted 04-Aug-2013
Pros: Friendly relaxed atmosphere
Location: Suited my needs entirely
Staff very friendly but at dinner I felt they might have been understaffed because of a 30+ minute interval between starter and main course with no explanation. The food was very good.

Quirky

Posted 18-Jul-2013
We love coming and staying at Churston Court. The service is always second to none. We have only rated the comfort of the room as a 3 as it was so hot in there it was difficult to sleep. A fan might have improved the situation. The grounds also need attention as old cigarette butts and litter was everywhere.

No complaits with this one, it was great after a days sight seeing being able to get back, relax and enjoy a decent pint and good food.

One noght stay

Posted 13-Jul-2013 on Hotels.com
Booked 2 rooms for 1 night at short notice, thought the rate charged was good value. Eat in the bar in the evening which was pleasant and reasonably priced. Fantastic old building with loads of character located a bit of the beat and track. Plenty of on site parking.

A step back in time-with all mod cons!

We were upgraded to a room which had a magnificent four poster bed but also a large modern bathroom with walk-in shower and a lovely deep stand alone bath. Heaven! We en joyed a drink outside in the sunny courtyard and a first rate meal without having to drive around the area in search of a restaurant. An after dinner brandy and coffee completed a perfect evening.
