“Great Old World Charm Hotel”

The Hotel is made up of 5 Old Houses built in the late 1890's and converted to hotels. The rooms we were given in 3 different houses during our 12 night stay over 3 different secessions(went to Canada etc) were to a good standard and the staff were all very polite and nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly stay at this hotel again when we visit Detroit in the future. Little Gem of character in Detroit close to museums etc all worth a visit!!

“The Place to Stay”

This was a very quick trip to Detroit to interview for a graduate program at Wayne State. Inn on Ferry Street was ideally located for my needs - very close to campus and the department buildings I was visiting. This was a beautiful B & B with cozy holiday feel within some great architecturally historic buildings. The staff was pleasant and attentive and greatly helpful. There was a chance of getting snowed in and I was disaapointed when my flight WASN"T cancelled. I would have loved to stay an extra day holed up in this beautiful and relaxing hotel

“Best Bet in Detroit”

This was my second stay at the inn. Wonderful rooms, helpful and pleasant staff, and great location - a block from the reopened DIA which is itself a masterpiece. The hotel is as near to perfection as is possible - the ONLY critique I have is the lack of counter space in the bathroom - basically, there isn't any. Always end up putting my own toiletries on the floor - not so convenient but hardly a trip spoiler.

“Great option in Detroit”

The Inn on Ferry Street was within a couple of blocks of where I was working in Detroit, so it was extremely convenient. If you want to go downtown they also have a free shuttle service. The staff were extremely helpful, and the buildings are beautiful and very nicely restored. My room was a bit smaller than what one would find in a normal chain hotel, and thus had less furniture and other extra features. But all the necessities are there, and any inconvenience was for me more than offset by the charm of the place and the helpfulness of the staff. Free wireless internet, free and secure parking, and a good breakfast are other positive features. Highly recommended.

“The Only Place To Stay In Detroit!”

Absolutely outstanding service. Lovely and relaxed atmosphere. There were fresh cookies when we arrived in our room. The hotel shuttle service and drivers were wonderful. The breakfast was great. There was a fireplace in the main area and if you love old architecture, do not miss this one.

“Very pleased!!!”

Purpose was an ovenite getaway with my wife close to home. Very impressed with area, near downtown Detroit. Even my wife who is not a bed & breakfast type was very pleased. Got great rate thru Expedia. Walking distance to Art Institute & Science Center. Easy access to freeways & casinos. Very satisfied; will stay there again if occasion arises again.

“Most comfortable bed!”

The only thing that topped the charm of the Inn and its employees was the bed, it was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The complimentary shuttle proved to be very useful in getting us to the Lions football game. Inn on Ferry Street would definitly be my first pick if staying in Detroit again!

“Awesome find! The best hotel in Detroit!”

This is a wonderful hotel! Felt like a B&B. The service was fantastic, the room was beautiful, and it was so convenient to have a van take me down to Cobo Hall or to any local restaurant. I look forward to returning. If you are tired as I am of all of the chain hotels out there, even if you are not, this is a find.
