"Lodge very close to Magadikadi game reserve about 80 km east of Maun. The service and food was excellent. The tented lodge was nice but did not have an Aurconditioner. However most of the tented lodges don’t have AC ( exception Belmond Group). A little downfall was that we were the only guests on that day and we usually love to talk to people"

"I have been in this lodge 2 days with my sons. I liked the style, the view and the staff. But in particular the surrounding area was amazing small rivers, lakes, wildlife was all there! Lions with cubs, a family of hyenas, antelopes, giraffes, wildebeests, bison… beautiful!"

"The Island Safari Lodge is a great option for those staying in Maun to explore the Okavango Delta, Chiefs Island, and Morami. The property is massive with extensive walking trails and wildlife. The entire property is also walled and gated so you won’t encounter dangerous animals. The lodging is a bit dated so think of a higher end cabin experience as opposed to a hotel. The grounds are beautifully tended with lots of trees and greenery. The staff were all really friendly and helpful when we...

"The place itself is nice and clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly (just one lady during the day and security guard at night). The location is a bit secluded and no where near the location stated on Hotels.com. They have it in the city centre which is the main reason why i chose to stay there but in actual fact the location is on the outskirts along a dirt track, off the main road to the east of the river."
