"We have stayed at this Hotel on at least six occasions, what stands out to us is always the great , friendly staff ! The main issue this time was the amount of building going on around the Hotel and how 'closed in' it felt and also the road to the hotel was quite hazardous as some of the metal building fences had blown over . I would hope that some type of greenery/trees etc are planted to improve the area around the hotel otherwise the view is of big grey warehouse type buildings . "

"From check in to check out, the service provided was excellent. The staff were ever helpful and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The food options ranged from exceptional restaurant to bar snacks, all of which were delicious. The ‘sports facilities’ were limited but more than adequate. Lovely walk around the estate. "Great staff.friendly and courteous.historic hotel that used to be a stageing inn.well appointed and a really good breakfast.we opted for a snug room that we found to be comfortable with a good shower and bath.the hotel is right in the middle of lyndhurst so walking about the town and enjoying the pubs and restaurants was easy.we’d go again."
