Great little find clean and fresh. I thought breakfast was included but this is additional cost in pub next door. Very helpful staff.

Lovely little cottage-terraced property
Great little cottage, comfortable, I would prefer a slightly bigher bed, but it was comfortable. Living room and kitchen bwry nice. Great location with some restaurnats around it and great for a walk in thw canal.

The room was pleasant but i could hear the neighbouring occupant. The outside is currently a building site, not a problem but less welcoming.

The room and pub were lovely, could fault the staff who were all wonderful. However we both had a steak in the pub restaurant and it was tasty but very very tough which spoilt our meal. Apart from that I would recommend for a nights stay.

Friendly, well set-up and comfortable.
The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was great and they'd kindly set it up for our kids to have their own beds. Really clean and well provisioned. The bed was gigantic. A little hard (for us), but hundreds of cushions and we were very comfy in our room. We'd be very happy to stay again.

Comfortable stay
Lovely room at a great local gastro pub/restaurant. Room was a bit cool (end of the cold snap) and no individual room thermostat but otherwise ok. Bottled water would have been a nice option.

Over night stop 20 mins from airport
The cottage is on a busy road and had noise traffic until midnight. There was noise from an extraction fan that ran until 4.15 and then started at 6am. The bed was very hard and the quilt was extra warm 13.5 tog. It is July and we are in a heat wave. We ended up sleeping on the quilt and used the cover only. The room was really clean and the shower hot and powerful. The restaurant was really good with a large and varied menu. I had jack fruit for the first time. It is on the canal but it is the pub bit not the accommodation.

Although our room was above the kitchen there was minimal noise or smells, the room was very clean &the staff were friendly & welcoming. overall a very nice place to stay.

A little gem
We had a fabulous couple of nights at the cottage for my partners birthday. The room was excellent clean and comfortable and we got to have a lie in as breakfast was served until 11-30 if needed

Came up against a brick wall of denial in customer service. When showing them my confirmation via hotels.com in writing they refused to acknowledge my room rate and demanded further payment even though I had confirmation of my inclusive rate. They claimed hotels.com to be at fault but had no interest in working with me to rectify this. After explaining that what they said to be different to what hotels.com advertises about the property that had no interest in rectifying this for their own benefit to stop confusion with future guests. Hairs in shower and in bed also.

very clean excellent service the pub food is very good and the service is good plenty of staff so you do not have to wait dog friendly a short walk to the harbour its very pretty and a lot of shops plenty of places for coffee etc

Very nice location and ambiance, very very minor issue that is one of my bug bares, having to request basic condiments when you receive your even meal and breakfast, having to ask for milk and sugar with morning coffee in the restaurant. These little things make a difference.

Great place for a weekend break
Lovely place right on the canal side The room offers a very comfortable bed,good selection of tea,coffee and biscuits Decent shower with toiletries and nice fluffy towels.Step next door and you are in the Dragon pub which has a very good restaurant. Two more pubs very close by,a great Indian restaurant and a good tea room .It’s a short walk to Mercia marina along the canal which is worth a visit

Amazing little find! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the rooms were lovely and clean. The Cottage is attached to a pub called the Dragon which isn't obvious when you book. The staff were super friendly and accomodating which was sometimes a challenge given there were 15 of us staying!

we loved this place, a little gem in a beautiful place right by the river, a few pubs right nearby, marina and shops a 15 minute walk away, we walked down the river, just beautiful, and we visited the indian restaurant across the road, and it was delicious. The room was lovely, beautiful decor, super clean, friendly staff, amazing comfy bed. Couldnt of asked for more and the the price of the room was real value for money. Lovely quiet relaxing break, loved it Thankyou.

Comfortable place to stay
Great place to stay adjacent to Dragon pub providing good quality and reasonable evening and breakfast food. Room very comfortable and clean. Good sized shower room. Sound proofing not brilliant between rooms as conversations could be hear. Just needs attention to detail such as teabag provision and tv remote that works.
