Dan, it is certainly not our intention to give the wrong impression; so, a fancy new home page banner will soon give the complete picture*. I will also update the platforms, like this one, wherever it will clarify the situation. But to put the record straight, the walk to the beach is only 2 minutes’ or less for most folks, (maybe 3 coming back because it's uphill), the "main road" is single lane, quiet and empty most of the time, and our private beaches with a Scandinavian sauna, fire pit, kayak and canoe for our guests’ enjoyment, are in fact sandy, because we trucked tons of it in (from the other side of the island); unlike the adjacent “very nice” rocky shore. *There is so much in the way of photos (including aerial) and information to make the situation clear already, that this is only the second time we have received this complaint. However, that is 2 too many, so as well as the new home page banner (coming soon) I have made several changes to the text and presentation to help clarify the situation and we will continue to strive to be open and honest with the content. What we have created here is, in most (virtually all) guests' opinions, unique and wonderful, and is giving them such great experiences; I'm sorry that you were uninterested in or unable to take advantage of those amenities.
