“It was a surprise”

The hotel was older and undergoing construction so image my surprise when I walk into a newly remodeled room. It was very clean and comfortable. They even had turned on the air prior to us checking in. The staff was very pleasant. The continental breakfast had a nice varitey and was fresh. Also priced very affordable.

“Very Nice place to stay”

The hotel was very nice. Nice anemities and the staff was very helpful with hotel questions and extra needs and helpful with information on the surrounding area attractions!

“Pleasantly Surprised”

The room was much nicer than expected given the previous reviews I had read. The staff was pleasant and the room was clean. The breakfast room was nicely appointed and the food was good.

“Will Stay Again”

For the money it was great and all that we needed. The room was very clean and everything worked - no complaints and we were comfortable. It is not the Ritz, but we were not paying for the Ritz either!! Will stay there again.

“Geat Clean Modern Hotel”

Wow! What a nice hotel,The room was beautifully updated and very modern. Granite counter tops,tile floors in the bathrooms, a frig and microwave in room. Our room had brand new carpeting. The cleanliness was outstanding. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was great with sausage, eggs breads for toast and awesome waffles you make your self in the waffle maker. I would highly recommend this hotel. It even has pet friendly room for those who are traveling with their pets.

“Very Nice Stay”

I was very pleased with my stay at the hotel. Staff were friendly and the room was very nice. The included breakfast was also enjoyable with a decent variety of choices.

“Recently re-decorated rooms, very clean”

This hotel is very near Blue Springs park so I booked it mainly due to it's location. Across the street is a park that has a playground and a fountain for kids to play in. It's great for an afternoon cool down. The hotel also had a pool. The rooms look like they were recently re-decorated, the room looked very nice. There was a fridge and a microwave. The free breakfast had couple of waffle making machines plus other usual breakfast items. free wi-fi in the rooms. I would definatelly recommend this hotel to anybody going to be in the area.

“I'll Be Back”

Not fancy, but nice and clean. Breakfast included. Outdoor pool. Staff was friendly and attentive. Near Blue Spring State Park for viewing Manatees in the winter months.

“Dogs drove me crazy!”

Hotel was ok. Was not expensive and it had everything I needed. Must have been a dog show that weekend. Big dogs are allowed at the hotel!! There is not really enough area for dogs to relieve themselves and some people were lazy and put the potty pads on the walkway.... Nice smell in the morning. One dog even peed on my tire.. Those black Lovebugs were in season also. The doors do not go all the way down to the floor on the second floor so they would just come in when they wanted. I suggest you take some duct tape and make a "weatherstrip" with it to keep them out. Better yet the hotel could put the bottom kickplates on the doors and be done with it. Not much around the hotel to walk to for food. But, 5-10 minutes anyway you go you can get something. About 30 minutes to New Smirna Beach. (Boston Fish House) mmmmmm About 45 minutes to Daytona Beach. (Hog Heaven BBQ) mmmm 1 hour to the Orlando Int. Airport (MCO) Overall it was ok for me.

“Older hotel with good people”

Arrived on time and my room was exactly as advertised. No problems checking in. The room, although an older hotel, was neat and clean with the air conditioning on and comfortable. All the appliances worked properly. The only thing wrong was the TV would not turn on or off with the remote but would function well otherwise. Not really worth mentioning, but I did on my checkout. The TV was not a new flat screen and seemed to have a discolored spot in the screen. Again, no big deal and it was mentioned as I left. The room was kept clean and supplied with all the amenities and even extra coffee when asked for. The room was also quiet as there were several motorcycles roaming around but they were barely heard. All in all it was a good place to stay. I was there 4 days and had no major problems. I'll stay there next time I'm looking for a hotel in the area.
