Very clean and spacious rooms. The walls are pretty thin and the kids and I were up until 2 am because of the people that were staying above us.

Upon checking in, the price I was charged before I checked in was different than my booking. I chose to pay at check in, and the amount was off by more than $200. I was told that they were aware that the dollar amount seemed off but that they went ahead and charged my card that I used to save my booking anyway. No attempt to contact me prior to my arrival was made to alert me to the issue. Ultimately they were able to get the issue sorted out with Expedia but it would have been nice for them to hold off on charging me so then it wouldn’t take days for money to be returned to me or at the very least communicate that they knew there was an issue and the were attempting to get it sorted out. Otherwise the rooms were spacious, clean and above my expectations. The available activities were nice if you wanted to participate in them and off property excursions were close by and easily found.

A few improvements could make it a 10!
The rooms are a bit dated but very spacious and have everything you need. There are a lot of activities throughout the resort. The biggest issues are the internet speed, which is dreadful, and lack of a restaurant / bar. There is a snack bar but very low quality. For this being a resort with many units and activities, they would benefit greatly (and like profit from) and decent restaurant and a bar with at least beer and wine.

Nice 2 BR, 2 bath suite with balcony. Clean, quiet, comfortable bed. My only complaint was there was not a true shower in the master BR. Had to use hand-held shower wand from big jetted tub.

Very Pleasantly Surprised!
Hotel room was spacious and clean! The property was gorgeous with a lot of amenities! Pool area was nice. Didn’t love the break every hour, but was nice to get out and re apply sun screen, they even brought popsicles during one break! Hotel staff was very friendly!

Quiet Place But Not a Lot of Resort Activity
Quiet resort with not a lot going on in May. We had plenty of room and appreciated the kitchen facilities and outside deck area. There did not seem to be any activities going on at the resort due to the time of year or Covid after affects. Not a lot around, but good place to stop if you don't mind driving to nearby places such as St. Genevieve or Farmington.

To begin, the check in was great! The front desk clerk was very friendly and professional. She gave a quick description of the property and surrounding area. Our suite was very spacious and comfortable. 1 King bed and 1 queen in separate rooms and a pull out sofa. The kitchenette was perfect with a full sized, refrigerator, stove/oven, sink and dish washer. Plenty of closet room. The room was very secure and parking out front of our room. The suite was very clean with extra toiletries and towels. I was very pleased and impressed with our suite.

Nice for staying in. Not convenient for much around the area. Kinda middle of nowhere. But enjoyed for time in with family! Golfed, mini golfed and cooked in with groceries I brought myself.

If you want rest DO NOT stay here!
This was the worst property I have EVER stayed at. Most of the amenities were closed or restricted; not due to Covid, but just because of renovations. Food hours were limited. Beds and couch were horribly uncomfortable. No daily service. Worst of all was the noise. If you want rest and relaxation DO NOT come here. We had to call security both nights we were there because of ridiculously loud parties. Up until 2am one night and 4am the next. Then the security told us there was nothing they could do. Only when we threatened to call the police did she actually knock on doors. This place was TERRIBLE.

We loved being close enough to enjoy St. Louis but away from the hustle and the bustle of the city. For the same cost as a hotel, we got a spacious 2-bedroom on a lovely property with great amenities. Pool/activities center hours are limited (11-7 during our stay) but such is life in an era of labor shortages. Check out Bonne Terre Mine (INCREDIBLE) or one of the amazing state parks nearby. We are very happy with our decision to stay here!

Pool was only open until 5pm the night we arrived. Check in was not until 4. So no time for swim with 5 year olds. Then pool was only open 11-7 on Saturday. No water sports on the lake. Playground was old wood. Needs updating. Definitely expected more for the price
