To sum it up: false advertising and aggressive "host".
Does not sleep ten. Bed was literally broken,to the point we put the mattress on the floor. Most *definitely* not newly renovated. Wet. Damp. Dirty. No AC. Kitchen floor was moldy and perpetually wet. To get to the kitchen, you walk through the bedroom. Air fresheners everywhere (made us sick) to cover musty smell and mold. Everything was either from the 70s or DIY. The beds were all terribly uncomfortable, and the sheets and towels were older than my grandmother. When I asked for a coffee machine, she was "extremely sorry" she didn't have one. So we bought one ourselves. When I asked for the password to Crave, she simply didn't answer me. There was no binder with info on the house or ...any instructions of how anything works. Cherry on top? She asked for MORE money because we had "extra guests" and threatened to call the police AFTER I agreed to pay her. Instead of waiting, she ambushed us after we came back from dinner and gave us half hour to pay...or else LOL. Four women in the house: came for an experience, left feeling unsafe. The ONLY good thing was the view of the lake. I strongly encourage you to stay anywhere else. Want pics? Contact me.

Lake View Condo
We enjoyed our week in Halifax, and Caroline was a very gracious host. She was always available for any questions we had and check-in was easy. The property is lovely, with a view of the lake. It is very large, with lots of room for many guests. Although it had some updates, parts of the home were quite dated (kitchen) but it had an older charm that you don't get with newer builds. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Very old mattresses
I was dissapointed in the very old and worn mattress on both beds. Could literally feel the springs. Temperature in basement was 16 degrees celcius, and the termostat was turned off. We used the extra blankets that we found. The kitchen was also a dissapoinment as the only pot avaiable was dirty with remnants of lobster. I would recommend that the owner get some comfortable beds with newer bedding and hire a better cleaning staff. The place is beautiful, as is the lake. Just need to improve a bit.

We had the heat on on confortable temperature and the guest had access to put the temperature high or low at the level they want. It’s only by clicking the button you could change the temperature. Both mattresses are new and the third had a very comfortable pad. 1 bed and 1 soda bed haven’t been used. They had brand new mattresses. The kitchen is full of pots…I don’t know why you could not find them. It would have been better to ask as you did for towels and you had a hard time finding them even though they were in a very big visible closet. We could’ve helped and solve this issues on the spot if you only asked.

Property has excellent location and picturesque lake view. Our host Lorenzo was very welcoming with prompt reply to our requests. The property has ample living space added to a dedicated Suna room. Overall we had a memorable experience and will certainly visit again.
