If you don’t know the area, it’s confusing to get in/out of the hotel. There was a lot of traffic and multiple on/off ramps to roads and highways right in that spot.

Potato was spoiled when breakfast was served. The scent was noticeable and they still served it for everyone to eat. Very inappropriate. It made me not want to eat breakfast. Room was very clean, but everything is very loud as you open doors. You can hear everything in the hallway. The phone was not working upon arrival, a quick call to the service desk was no help. As the maintenance technician appeared to be agitated upon arrival. Overall, a decent experience. However, I will not be returning.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. I can assure you that our potatoes were not spoiled as they are always frozen until cooking. I believe we were serving Ukon Gold potatoes made for Hampton Inns. They are a lemon pepper potato and do have a unique smell. I apologize for them not being satisfactory and for the noise you encountered during your stay. We would love the opportunity to win you back as a guest if ever in the Danbury area in the future.

This hotel was fine. Staff Accommodated us with our dog on the ground floor which was really helpful. The breakfast was fine. We found the hotel was noisy…other guests, the walls and floors are thin so heard everything next door including the plumbing and conversations. Otherwise the room was very comfortable and large.

A visit to Danbury

This is a nice clean property and more luxurious than some other hotels. The breakfast was fairly good, but I would have liked to see a small cafe on the property. We were able to walk to Chili's for a quick bite the first night we were there, so that was good. Beds and rooms are spacious and luxurious. Beds are quite comfortable. thank you.

I reserved a king room several months in advance. They gave me a room with 2 double beds. I asked the front desk why they didn’t honor my request and was told the manager decided to give me 2 doubles instead. They also said they couldn’t reach me to let me know. Won’t got back.

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Has a pool and large spa tub. Very good hot breakfast. Easy access from the freeway. Many restaurants in the area.

First, booking was a problem. Could nit get anyone to answer. Then the price for a king was $450 because there were only a few rooms left. I went online and found a similar room for half the price. Then, when checking in, I did not get the room I requested and paid for?? Then after being out all day, the room wasn't cleaned.

The toilets were loud. You could hear everyone flush and it would wake me up. Despite these powerful "water-saving" flushes, they would explode the contents of the toilet and require multiple flushes to get everything down. The bath and shower controls were complicated, the room was dark, and it was difficult to figure out how to close and open the room darkening shade.

Greeted with a smile, even when we checked in at 10:00pm. That breakfast Buffett was great, everyday too. Thanks for an enjoyable and memorable few days with my kids.

The service was great. The staff was exceptional when I pointed out that my room and bed were not properly cleaned. They went above and beyond to make it up to us. Our bed was a little hard, but other than that everything was very good.

This property gave my room away at 5:00PM, I was then booked at the nearby Courtyard by Marriott who only had a King bed, not 2 Queens as anticipated and did not include complimentary breakfast. The Marriott property and room was acceptable. I'm dissatisfied with the way in which the Hampton Inn handled THEIR overbooking and hope that this didn't have anything to do with the fact that I used my complimentary night from Hotels.com (for the first time).
