The hotel was acceptable and the staff helpful. The breakfast was good. However, we had asked for a twin room and they gave us a room with one double and two twin beds. It was very crowded and not very restful. Also there was hot water in the shower only and not all the time. Property definitely needs some upkeep.

Room I paid for was given to someone else. Then they wanted to put me in a smaller room that I did not pay for and not give me a refund for the difference. We went to see the room and it smelled horrible like bleach. I chose not to stay there and wanted a refund which I did not get. The man at the front desk was also sick coughing and sneezing all over the place . It was such a bad experience would not recommend this place to anyone.

The location was near a noisy intersection. We had no problems but were advised by locals to be careful. We did not go out at night or weekends due to covid lock down. The hotel and staff were very helpful, and nice. Breakfast in our room was great also.

The room is small but the decor of the hotel is really pretty. The staff worked with me when I could not arrive on time. I really appreciate that.

From 4 star to -4 star
Terrible service, terrible property terrible location. Gives the city of Cuenca a bad name. Bottom line, you get what you pay for. Beware of hotels in the country. They say 4-star but they are really -4. Research the area as well as hotel accommodations before booking.

It was good located with a near parking. Staff was of not help, Only there was a person who was the star of the hotel. No hot water in the morning for shower and woke up with strong smell of food. Pictures of hotel far away of what we found.

Great location on the outscirts of the tourist area and close to a large market. Next door to the market. Lots of good food at very economical prices. Good walking distance to the sites and bus station and even the airport. Need to careful for pickpockets.

My husband and I loved the hotel structure and the traditional breakfast. However I only have three complaints, our room did not have a working phone, the bathroom door lock was not working and I asked for a bottle of wine in two occasions and the front desk women never gave me a price. Otherwise I liked the hotel and the location.

Great place!
I had an excellent experience at this hotel. It is conveniently located with bright, spacious rooms. Very comfortable bedding. Delicious breakfasts. And, unfortunately, I experienced an illness while I was there (pneumonia). The staff were especially considerate of my condition, bringing me tea, extra blankets, and even running out to get me a pizza for dinner one night when I was not able to leave my bed. Couldn't ask for nicer people or a more comfortable place.

LIked almost everything, but there were some flaws. Almost impossible to communicate with staff without any knowledge of Spanish language. Not always hot water avialable in the mornings.

Clean as a whistle, friendly staff, great weekend breakfast. Weekday breakfast was the same each day. Very noisy hotel across the street from a large Mercado as well as lots of noise from other rooms.

It was a nice hotel near to everything in downtown... very safe if you walk at anytime. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was perfect. We have to change rooms because it was a little bit noisy in the one we stayed first but after that everything was perfect. I will stay again here

Confusion about the room when we checked in, but we were able to change the second day. There is an electronics store on the first floor that plays music at full blast all day and the noise bounces off the walls of the market across the street. We were able to walk to the river and some great restaurants.

Nice place, very comfy
The check-in was at 14:00, but they let us to leave our luggage before. The room was nice and comfy and the breakfast delicious. We were late for going to the terminal and we couldn't find a taxi and they helped us with their car.

La habitación que nos tocó fue bastante oscura, tenia una sola ventana interna, pero si la dejabas abierta todos te pueden ver dentro del establecimiento. Poco cómoda en general. Tuvimos un problema de comunicación con el personal en recepción, habiamos solicitado late check out y nos confirmaron hasta una hora por un monto, pero luego nos dijeron que el chico se habia equivocado y tuvimos que salir en ese momento y esperar en la cafeteria hasta la hora que inicialmente habiamos pedido quedarnos. La habitación no cuenta con aire acondicionado tampoco.
