Lovely hotel . Breakfast was fabulous lots to choose from including Welsh full breakfast. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Fabulous food at the prince of wales prices great.

All of the staff were extremely efficient, professional and friendly. The room wat excellent, very clean as was the rest of the hotel. Will definitely be making this our regular vacation.

Hotel is in a great position with sea views to the front and side. The service was great and the food was superb!! Within easy walking of the beach and the shops, and not far by car to Porthmadog & the Welsh Highland Railway.

Fantastic weekend away
Had a lovely weekend stay for my friends 60th visited Porthmerian and enjoyed an amazing meal at the Castle Fish and Chip shop and Dylans. Hotel was lovely, comfortable and clean and the hosts were great. Will definitely return.

It’s exactly what it advertises to be, clean room basic but absolutely fine bathroom, very good bed (stated king size but think it was super king). Lovely breakfast and would be the first place to call if I was staying in that area again.

Brilliant Hotel Stay.
The proprietors and staff at this hotel make you really welcome. The rooms are clean as is the rest of the hotel. Parking is free and off road. The location of the hotel is ideally situated for a short walk into Criccieth. Access to the Coastal walk is easy and was perfect for our walking weekend break. The breakfasts are superb with a choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurts and fruit juices to start and then a selection of freshly cooked to order meals. Coffee or tea and decaffeinated also available. Toast to order. That sets you up for the day! We had two evening meals which were absolutely fantastic. There was a good choice of starters and main courses, especially fresh fish dishes. The portions are generous and the meals are served piping hot, freshly prepared to order and cooked to perfection. The menu is a set price of £20 for a starter and main. Desserts (if you have room left) are about a fiver. These delicious meals are incredibly good value. They surpass any meals we have had out (local to our home in Shropshire) for quality and price. Our three night stay was extremely enjoyable, we would gladly stay there again. It is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in for quite some time.

Nice place on Wales Coast Path
Lovely clean place with good access to Wales Coastal Path. The innkeepers are friendly, and we chose to book two of our evening meals in the restaurant. Food was high quality and a good value.

Everyone was so welcoming and warm, the view from the bedroom was wonderful, definitely as advertised a sea view, and views of Criccieth Castle. Bed was super comfortable, and everything was so spotlessly clean. There are stairs to negotiate but well worth the effort.

On arrival there. It was easy to park. and at first their was no one on reception. having entered my room. it was a lovely room. but smallish. it had everything I needed, my stay was pleasant, The only thing that put me off staying there was No where to eat much. most of the restaurants where fully booked, plus the seaside was not good,

A fantastic hotel in a great location
Our stay at Plas Isa was wonderful. We needed to extend our holiday while our car was being repaired and Ian and Anna turned what could have been a hassle into a bonus holiday. They were really helpful, it's a great hotel a few minutes from the beach (and from Dylan's restaurant and just a few more Cadwalladers ice cream shop - both excellent too!). The hotel breakfast was delicious and Criccieth might just be the best place in the world to get stuck for a few days. Totally recommend.

A week on the Wales Coast Path
Couldn't fault it. Anna, Ian and their team did everything to make my 1 week stay an absolute pleasure, and Anna's evening meal is something not to be missed - sorry Ian, your breakfast was good too! With easy access to public transport, Plas Isa is well placed for the Llyn Peninsular Coastal Path, and the many other attractions of the area. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at the Plas Isa Hotel. The room was very comfortable and had a sea view, which was great to wake up to in a morning. There was tea & coffee making facilities in the room and biscuits. We had dinner at the hotel both nights that we stayed and the food was excellent as was the service. We had a very enjoyable stay, would recommend.

From the friendly and efficient check in to the delicious breakfasts, we highly recommend Plas Isa. The owner also prepares evening meals to order and we ate there last night before watching the England match. Delicious home cooking- thank you.

Anna and Ian were excellent hosts and made me feel welcomed. It was great to have a bar and lounge to relax in too. They even got me salted peanuts when I asked for them even though they didn’t have them behind the bar. What great service! The breakfast was high quality too and they even accommodated me when I wanted breakfast before 8am.

Lovely stay in picturesque Criccieth
A lovely stay over the bank holiday weekend. Stunning views of the Criccieth beach front and a good launch point for exploring Lyn peninsula and rest of Gwyneth. Anne & Ian make you feel at home and serve up a great breakfast too.

Fantastic location very close to the sea, with wonderful views of the beach and sprawling coastline one way and The magnificent Criccieth Castle the other. The owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean, and the view from our room was amazing (make sure you upgrade to a sea view, it’s so worth it!) the breakfast was really tasty with plenty of choice. This is a really charming lovely place and we will definitely be back!
