“Very pleased”

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is very close and convenient to the Mainstrasse area of Covington and a short walk to many restaurants, shops and bars. I have stayed here previously and have always been treated well and with courtesy by the staff. The hotel has always appeared clean, up to date and well cared.

“Nice hotel, walking distance to Paul Brown Stadium, and Cincinnati Reds.”

Everything was fine. Only regret was getting the breakfast buffet. It would have been cheaper and healthier to go across the street to McDonalds.

“Very Busy Area”

Located in a very busy area at freeway entrance for two major freeways. Two blocks from small specialty stores and quaint restaurants. Many fast food restaurants there two. Convenient to freeway.

“Reds Fan”

“DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL! IT's FILTHY DIRTY”

Do not stay in this hotel. The rooms are filthy dirty and its outdated. The bathroom was old and mildewed and everything was sticky and smelly like its never gettibg cleaned. Take a pass

“TappiCon at Holiday Inn Cincinatti”

Nice hotel. Not really top rate but very very nice. People were friendly and the room was clean and quite livable. Service was good all the way through. No free breakfast but an excellent buffet for $12. Temperature was easy to control and we were quite comfortable for the entire stay. Would definitely go back, especially at the Expedia rate!

Area recommendations

Lots of things to see. Museums and gardens are excellent. The Ohio river makes for lots of great views. Be aware that GPS really helps for out of towners as there are lots of one way streets and if cloudy, no way to tell directions as there are few straight roads. The Kentucky side of the river is the place to stay. Hopefully someday they'll get the construction on 71 done so you can get there by car in a reasonable time.

“Nice Location”

You can get to anywhere downtown and Newport very easy. People at check-in were very nice and helped us with everything and information we needed. Breakfast needs help go somewhere else.

“Cincy PPK”

Very nice hotel. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and the rooms were very clean. Looks like it had just been remodeled and we were very happy with our stay. We will stay there agai next year if rooms are available!

Lots of action right across from downtown Cincinatti and convenient walking distance from both football and baseball stadium on walking bridge across the Ohio River
