Comfortable and Practical Apartment, Good Ski Slope Access combined with Mountain Chalet Character
The Apartment was very comfortable - beds very comfortable, a good nights sleep on good quality linens and pillows. Practical because just about everything you need was there for a family - kitchen well equipped (many and varied pots and pans, a really good multi burner gas range - important of you are not eating out too much. Cutlery and place settings for many). Brilliant long family table. Washing machine and Dryer modern and functioning correctly, plus Microwave and Dishwasher. Everything worked. Good Speed WIFI essential, Fantastic.
Only niggles could have used a toaster (OK English like their toast) and a couple of spatulas (flipping those breakfast pancakes). I don't think we turned the TV on for more than 10 minutes, but if you felt the need it was good quality. The bunk room bedroom, was really great for Adult and two boys, and the other bedroom fell to my 16 year old daughter who appreciated her won space. We could easily have accommodated 2-3 more adults if required.
Didn't have to mess with heating - temperature was just right, and always hot water.
The apartment description is really honest and accurate - it is up the hill from the main Courchevel 1850 centre - 10 minutes down and back carrying shopping 10-15 minutes depending on the health of your legs! Ski slopes 70M in either direction make it almost ski in / ski out (depending on time of year i guess, but first week of April we still had easy functional ski home access). Just one toilet, but two showers/sinks. Bed rooms not big but plenty of storage.
Overall a really nice mountain chalet feel in a great location - quiet and peaceful, if you are a skier this is an ideal location. Like so many other reviewers, If returning to Courchevel, this would definetly be on top of my list. Thanks
