“Clean and Comfortable!”

THERE WERE NO BEDBUGS!!! That was the first thing we checked for and no, there were no bedbugs. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, overall it was a great stay. The continental breakfast was good, they had a nice selection. Very convenient to all area attractions, right on the main road and close to Rt. 85. We would definitly stay there again!

“Good Stay”

This hotel is good for the price. The beds were comfy, bathroom clean, and overall was not too bad. The downside would be the continental breakfast, the food was kinda stale and not that great. The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating and I would go here again. Defiantly worth it for the price.

“Bed Bug Hotel”

There were bed bugs in my bed! My friend's room smelled like her sheets had not been cleaned from the person before.

“Last Resort”

Had a hard time finding a room during race weekend. This place was relatively clean, but it was very noisy. The hotel is right by a railroad track that is very busy......all night long. Some of the noise was obviously from the other guests, but this would definitely be a last resort. Only if there wasn't another vacancy somewhere else.

“Not impressed”

Room was dirty....corners with cobwebs. Outside noises were VERY loud in room. Room temp hard to stabilize. Would not stay there again.

“Might want to have a look around”

Property a little tired. The A/C unit in our room worked but was very loud. Room was clean but not prepaired for our arrival. Fridge not plugged in,A/C unit not turned on. Breakfast was good and pool was clean on the brighter side. Howard Johnsons have relaxed on their property standards

“Easy to find”

This hotel was really easy to find and so near the area that I needed to be at. The only thing about the room that I did not care about is that if a room is booked then the lights and refrigerator should be plugged in for the guest. Because it takes so long to get your drinks cold and to really figure out what the deal is that the lights won't come on. It was really weird but to conserve energy I understand this reason. And the subject about the ice machine area--really lights need to be on around this area. Alot of travelers are concerned with their safety when going around the corner for ice and no lights on. For the safety of customers this really should be the main concern of the hotel; and conserving energy on this matter should be over looked fully. I would surely stay here again if attending this area in the future.

“great hotel for the price”

Convienient to interstate, many places to eat surrounding hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Had no problems going from king bed to 2 doubles. Very accomodating.
